I Parody Corporate Stock Pics Because They Never Show The Reality Of Breastfeeding As A Working Mom

I went back to work soon after having both of my babies, and I learned something: taking your baby’s food source to work with you is awkward, difficult, and sometimes hilarious.

I shot this series of parody corporate stock photos because every “working mom” photo out there shows a woman at a computer with a baby in her lap.

Warning: It’s kind of hard to un-see something like your co-worker leaking through her dress during a big presentation.

You thought you were nailing your presentation on the latest sales numbers, but you were actually leaking breastmilk through your dress

Your co-workers are kind of jerks

Making your baby’s food in a bathroom isn’t gross at all

It’s ok to cry over spilled milk – if it gets on your keyboard, just tell that it was coffee

Nothing says “I’m a pro” like spilling your breast pump parts all over the elevator lobby

Thanks for the “Lactation Suite” HR

He shoots, he scores!

Trying to wash your pump parts in the sink is going to result in a “Whatcha got there, Elizabeth?” from Tim and Sheila in Accounting

Dude, that’s not creamer

Way to close the deal, team! Uhhhh, what’s that in your hand, Cynthia?

Sure, I can work late again!

Lol! Great pics... I remember being at the office preparing documents for a signing and the customer's baby started to cry in the conference room which auto triggered my milk supply. All I could do was grab the desk in pain followed by me running to the bathroom to add more pads to my bra. Lol! It's funny now.

It's sad. Women all around The world are pressured to be and to do absurd things!! The employee, the government, our culture make us to forget we were babies some time ago, in need of breast milk for our development. Actually, people created a lot of s**t to jump breastfeeding and it's ok! I'm a lucky mom that can be at home with my baby until now, despite all the difficulties. Thank you for this pictures, they make people think.
