Young Couple Aged 70 Years With Make-Up To See If They’d Still Love Each Other

Tavis and Kristie, a twenty-something soon to be married couple, were aged 70 years by makeup artists and then revealed to each other. Their reactions are touching, and their answers to the director’s questions are insightful. Each of the 3 makeup sessions added about 20 years to the couple’s age, bringing them from their late 20’s to their 90’s.

Not silly at all. After 30 years of marriage, I too was touched by the poignancy of imagining a whole lifetime shared together.

That's not silly, she had me at "my Mom gets to see what I'll look like at then...cause she probably wouldn't be alive to see me at that age." Or something like that, I'm crying right now so I don't remember what she actually said.

I hate to tell you but if they still love each other or not has actually nothing to do with how they look. It is how they treat each other.

I think the love is deep in both. The vows of better, worse, sickness, health - or whatever their vows- really hit home here for them

This was my immediate thought as well. Lusting is done with eyes, among other things. Real love is done with the mind, heart and soul.

That was my first thought, but what each saw in the other was their life together, not how objectively beautiful they were.
