We made Burano – 360⁰ watercolor painting animation in VR.

My name is Maja Wrońska I’m an architect and watercolor painter from Poland.

Daniele Pugni, who came up with the idea contacted me and asked if I want to make with him a non-profit art project. He works at Sky Italia and he wanted to transform my watercolor into 360 VR animation. I agreed and you can watch the result on Vimeo:

I have drawn 7 different paintings within straight perspective lines which has been stitched together and animated omnidirectional.

You can read more about the project here.

The idea is to show places through various artists eyes,

the world is amazing but sometimes the creative vision is even better.

Our dream is to see this project applied to Google’s Streetview.
