Why...I have 2 kanji symbols on my arm...1 is the year of the dog symbol, which I was born in. The other is the kanji symbol for cat, in honor of my cat who passed away. Yes, I did a ton of research to make sure they were correct.

I once read about a guy who got a tattoo like this from an Oriental tattoo artist. He told the artist he wanted it to mean fierce warrior. After he got it; some one translated it into english. the translation reads " STUPID WHITE GUY".

Biggest red flag is if it's a cop. The original punisher comic had him going after corrupt police and politicians. Police have since tried to claim the symbol means "no mercy".
