As a woman I must admit to having done some pretty dodgy things along these lines too.

Scary thing is that for each of these that [for some strange reason] worked out, there are probably 3 that didn't.

You know, some of you are being awfully ironic calling some of these "stupid." The men that built the skyscrapers of the early 20th century that make skylines so iconic were far up in the air with no safety harnesses, baskets, or lines.

I like it how they kind of 'get' each other and work as a team in something as insane as this. That kind of camaraderie is seen when women shop together! :)

Plus they're lazy and spend half their lives visiting the doctor!

Many of these are without any context. Was the guy with the bucket on his head just doing it for a bit of 'photo-fun'? People have been setting things up for the camera ever since they were invented. Context. The man with the arrow? Is it actually set-up? A posed shot? It's too neat, too relaxed. I've seen someone take a skyrocket to the ribs. He went down in agony and writhed. Awful, yet he was not even punctured. (He was the only medical doctor within 15 miles, by the way!) Context: Electricians turn off the power before working on wiring. He was totally safe. (But we presume otherwise). Context? A man had to do emergency repairs but had no safety goggles? At least he organised *something*. Let's praise his act of eye-protection rather than jeer! Context: workers in third world countries are not given any safety equipment, since it's not required by law. They have to improvise - to stay in work and feed their families. Some of these really manipulate our assumptions.

I can't watch this... It's too scary.

Although its pretty funny, I would love to see girls doing all that hard work building stuff and getting things repaired for everyone´s use and enjoyment...
