Christopher David White (previous post here) is a talented American sculpture artist who might actually trick you with his amazingly realistic artworks. This artist makes you admire his works twice by creating an illusion of completely different material so you always have to go back and check them one more time. White’s beautiful sculptures are handmade from clay and rendered with strong attention to detail, resulting in gorgeous ceramic works of art that look like petrified wood.

Sculptor’s unique art explores the relationship between humans and nature, and how both are in a constant state of flux between growth and decay. “Change is a constant reminder that permanence is the ultimate illusion,” writes the artist on his website. “It is through the creation of a hyper-realistic sculpture that I explore the relationship between nature, man, and the phenomenon of impermanence.”
