35 Women Who Dared To Get Their Hair Cut Short And Got Awesome Results Thanks To This Hairstylist (New Pics)
People like to transform their style sometimes and the easiest way to do that is probably changing one's hairstyle. The women in this article decided to chop off their hair and go really short and it doesn't look like they're regretting it at all.
A hairstylist from Moscow, Russia named Kristina Katsabina is the culprit of these transformations. She helps the women transition by giving them amazing and very stylish hairstyles. Kristina shares her work on social media and inspires many women to follow suit and get the big chop. The hairstylist has been featured on Bored Panda before, so if you want to see the previous article, click here.

In a previous interview with Bored Panda, Kristina said: "A lot of women in their 30s are either working in a field they do not like or they have lost all of their inspiration to keep moving forward. It happened to me too; at some point, I lost all of my motivation to keep moving forward and deepen my knowledge when it came to my profession at the time. Before becoming a full-time hairstylist, I was teaching Spanish and also worked as a translator and choreographer."
"I fell in love with my own transformation, one could say I went to the extreme, going from long locks to the short hair I have now. The transformation results weren’t only visible in my appearance—no, the transformation also touched me from the inside too, I felt way happier than before. In the end, I fell in love with the process and it made me realize that I could see people in a different way. It is all about giving them suitable haircuts based on their preferences, personality, and the person’s overall charisma."
The goal of these transformations is to inspire women and show them they can turn their life around, follow their dreams and become who they always wanted. Cutting off your long hair has become a kind of a symbol of letting go of what no longer serves you and starting fresh. Creating the life you always wanted for yourself. Hopefully, if you were still wondering if you should cut your hair or not, these women will inspire you and you will finally take that freeing step.
"I think the main thing the hairdresser has to possess is the ability to wholeheartedly love working with people and feel their needs. Of course, you also have to consider things such as aesthetics and one’s personal taste, but in the end, your mission is to make a person a better, more beautiful version of themselves. And that's what I do with my haircuts, I like to make women feel happier, more beautiful, free, and brave."
Love the haircut she looks more youthful but she could loose the scarf
Lip stain is hard to pull off if you tend to have dry skin(dry lips as well) I love the idea of lip stain, but this is how it looks on me when it starts to wear off.
I don’t think we were able to get the full effect because of her hair in the braid but I still love it
Yes everyone can, that's the point. "Worse" is subjective to current social norms. We also thought powered faces and wigs looked good once. It doesn't matter if it looked " better" before, the important thing is they feel good about it
Load More Replies...I tried cutting my hair short once. Above chin-length. No one said anything negative, some told me I looked great... but I hated it. I hated the way I looked. So short hairdos aren't for everyone, but I applaud those who both have the guts to cut their hair super short, and can pull the look off! Short hair can be super cute.
My hair has nearly always been at least halfway down my back. I've cut it short three times in my 56 years...and hated it every time. I think I just don't have the face for short hair.
Load More Replies...This Stylist knocks it out of the park. One of the biggies in this collection is the women have the same clothes, the same makeup and the same lighting.... and many have the same expression. Now you are comparing just the haircut. So many of these before and after pictures collections have poor lighting, the person is looking sad, their clothes are so-so and the hair is messy. Then they show the person after the haircut with fabulous clothes, fabulous make up, perfect lighting and smiling... so kudos to Kristina Katsabina for doing it right!
All had their brows done in the after though and a ton of hairspray/product, where the before was undone hair.
