Woman Photographs Her Toad Doing Things In Her Dollhouse And People Love It (8 Pics)
So there is this Facebook group called Frogspotting, a place where people can go to discuss frogs, toads, amphibians and reptiles.
“So what,” I hear you say. Well, it turns out that frogs are much more popular than you might imagine, and this incredibly active group has more than 63,000 members sharing, discussing, laughing, and arguing about all things amphibian. Who knew froggy fetishes were so common?
Just recently Savannah Mikell has started uploading pics on the forum of her special little toad friend, Toby.
23-year-old Savannah has seemingly allowed Toby to move into to her dollhouse (which she happily admits that she still plays with), and the cool photos of him chilling on the bed, playing the piano and sitting down for a nice meal are just melting everyone’s hearts.
“It’s a dollhouse that was made for me when I was 6,” she told Bored Panda. It was made by my aunt, who is a professional dollhouse builder.”
However, as much as we’d love to believe that this adorable pet has settled into his bachelor pad, the reality is that he’s more of a free spirit who comes and goes as he pleases.
“Toby lives on my front porch, he likes to hide behind a flower pot, Savannah explained. “I’ve seen him for a few months, but I always have toads on my front porch. He likes to show up when it rains.”
People have been asking about Toby and how happy he seems to go along with the fun. Aren’t toads supposed to be a little, you know, jumpy?
“He’s very chill, he doesn’t mind being held, and sometimes I feed him bugs, so he knows I’m gonna feed him when I see him.”
Cute pet, isn’t he? Savannah began uploading the pics on Frogspotting a while back, along with simple, funny captions describing exactly what Toby is up to. Everyone was immediately taken by them and piled on in with the funny comments. I mean, who could resist young Toby’s charms?
“He Snooz”
“He compose”
What do you think? Have you ever caught a wild toad to keep as a pet? According to WikiHow, wild toads don’t make great long-term pets, but they are “relatively cheap to care for and can be fun to look after for a while.” So make sure it’s legal in your area, and go for it! Just make sure to read up on their needs!
Here’s what people had to say about Toby’s adventures
I need to see a photo of that dollhouse. It's incredibly detailed. Especially the wear marks on the furniture.
Agreed. Nothing against Froggy but I'm more interested in that doll house.
Load More Replies...I would absolutely follow someone's pet toad on social media. So much better than those damn stupid influencers
