Job Interview Game Changer: Woman Claims Her Simple Question Secures Employment
Ever found yourself in the dreaded position of having to come up with a good question to ask potential employers during a job interview? Well, a woman has found the perfect query. Her tip gone viral has helped to gain insight into meeting employment expectations while avoiding awkward blunders that could potentially cost you a job.
Catherine Lockhart shared the question to ask at job interviews for her “corporate girlies” which she claimed always got the job in the bag.
Taking to her TikTok page followed by 165,000 people earlier this month, Catherine, who has worked at Deloitte and Salesforce, urged people to ask potential employers: “What does excellence look like in this role?”
She explained: “It gives the interviewer an opportunity to explain a little bit more about the day-to-day functions of the role.

“It lets the interviewer know that you’re serious about performing and exceeding their expectations.”
In her video, which has racked up nearly 50,000 views, Catherine also advised against asking about additional benefits or time off.
“Do not mention PTO (paid time off) – do not ask if they have any other benefits,” she said.

In a follow-up TikTok video posted on Thursday (February 29), Catherine also suggested writing down all the questions people said they were asked on a company’s Glassdoor profile, prior to a job interview.
Glassdoor is a website that provides a platform for employees and former employees to anonymously review companies and their management.
Catherine claimed that by using Glassdoor, as well as “stalking” a potential employer’s LinkedIn or other social media profiles, you should be well-prepared for your professional meeting.

The Harvard Business Review recommended a handful of questions to ask during a job interview, such as: “What are the most immediate projects that I would take on?” and “What are the biggest challenges that I might face in this position?”
Meanwhile, HR expert Natalie Fisher told CNBC that the “number one” question you should “always” ask at job interviews was the following: “If the new hire was to achieve one thing that would blow your mind, what would it be?”

And WHY does BP have to fill the whole post with still shots of her face. I stopped reading the content after the 3rd one.
Load More Replies...Can we just stop with all the filler in the lips please? And why is she putting on makeup talking about a question that she asks, apparently, quite often? And why does she need to look for a job so often?
