Wire is an extraordinarily capable sculptural material - it can at once represent the airy weightlessness of a strand of hair or the taught power of a rigid muscle or rope. It's no surprise, then, that so many sculptors find it to be indispensable for their work.
Owing to the ease with which they can be manipulated, wires can be used to make anything from delicate jewelry to home decorative pieces to large structural pieces. The artists in this list all use wire as their main material for their amazing sculptures, which are perfect examples of just how widely applicable this material is.

They are amazing! Breathtaking work. Magical. Ethereal, although the medium used is the hard wires. Fantastic! Can an average folks who are in love with these arts afford one? Or are they, all, for the rich? Those without money cannot possess these beautiful arts except in public viewing areas? That is so sad.

Also a lot of my customers choose to display their sculptures in lit glass cabinets- that eliminates the need for frequent dusting :)

It's an undoctored picture... after a formal shoot, I roved around the studio for loose partial sculptures, and jumbled them up that way.

Absolutely stunning. The level of skill, talent and creativity held within your brain is definitely something to envy. The Golden Pegasus lives in my head rent free. I've never even attempted to sculpt anything from wire but I'm thinking maybe you've inspired me to at least try! Should I start small or just go all in? Go big or go home is my usual course of action when the odds aren't in my favor lol I've experienced a lot of failures but...a lot of success as well. Edison failed 1000 times but because of his dedication, hope and stubbornness...he created the lightbulb on his 1000th try....or so I've heard. How long did it take you to learn to sculpt a fantastic sculpture?

Anybody can sculpt wire. Its just practice. I have been at it only a few weeks amd the results ate amazing. Veru jard to get a good photo though. Just have a go. Start with very soft wire.
