My name is Marianna and I am a photographer from Italy. I am passionate about taking cat photos!
As I have been working on a photographic series "Cats in Venice" since 2017, I decided to try something new. I started with cats roaming free in the ‘calli’ (streets of Venice), than adding people in my photos and now looking up at the beautiful windows especially crowded and something beautiful happened!

I really admire your attentive eye to capture these moments, but personally, I would LOVE to see the photographs in color, because the fur coloration makes cats so unique. What was your thought process in deciding on B/W images?

These photos are part of my personal project cats in Venice, I decided to take photo in bw fiancé the beginning for my personal taste and because Venice suits it very well. I think we can focus on the subject without colors and take more intimate photos so I prefer it :)
