Nope, not if you mean work for a job. Or work hard - studying. There use often also a factor off luck involved. Many poor people work very hard. Winning. It implies a competition. So it is not meant to as a spiritual winning/happiness. Does "winning" equate happiness? I'm getting way too philosophical about this.
