Got city deer where I'm at, just rural enough for it. The ones that spend their time in city limits are... grungy? I'm not sure the right word, but the ones living deeper in nature just seem to take better care of themselves, I think.

These guys eat several of my squirrels every year. The rest they leave without hair and lacerations around their necks. Same wounds every time. Luckily, a lot survive.
