There are over 7 billion of us Human beings and counting – but we are in the minority. We share this planet with over 8.7 million species of living organisms, however that number is falling rapidly.

In the last 40 years alone, animal populations have fallen by 52 percent with the main contributing factors including deforestation, pollution, overpopulation, poaching and climate change caused by human activities.

One thing is certain, we need to change. Animals are our friends, our neighbors and our family and we need to treat them with love, compassion and respect.
