Church of the Good Shepherd is a well-known tourist attraction. It is right next to the lake Tekapo. There is a night sky reservation and it is said to be the second best place in the world to watch the stars!

The color of the lake Pukaki is really incredible. Moreover, there are plenty of pebblestones to play with! Oh, and the water is warmer than you would expect.

Mt. Cook road is one of the most beautiful roads I have been driving on. Mount Cook and other mountains in front of you, incredibly blue lake on your right.

I agree with David I love looking at stars they are one of my absolute favourite thing in the world, your photos are really amazing
More spectacular landscapes!! Would love to visit NZ some day soon to see them for myself!
It's a short flight from Oz. I worked in Sydney for a few weeks, which paid for my flight to Auckland; then hitch-hiked around North and South islands. Free Travel on toast.
