In a world bigger than themselves, children are often silenced. Their ideas are deemed “childish,” therefore not worthy of attention, and their opinions get labeled with the “just a kid” mark.
But in reality, these voices of little kids are often more illuminating, honest, and creative than self-absorbed adults would like to think.
So, this time we have compiled a wholesome list of the most touching random acts of kindness by kids that prove little ones have the biggest hearts. Be sure to upvote your favorite of these feel-good stories and don’t forget to check out part 1 when you’re done reading this one. And… tell your good kids you love them, ‘cause they’re really worth it (and much more!).

Real Heroes
Although they did this I bet it really upset them . Such brave young fellas having to see and cope with what life is about for some , must have been so hard . We are all so proud of you in the UK
Kids are just kids, they say. And many adults deem the little ones distracted, impulsive, and somewhat lacking a sense of reality. This usually unintentional and often unconscious attitude towards children stops us from really getting to know their incredible minds and unique sense of the world. Even the most complex type of emotions like empathy and kindness find their place in even the smallest ones of us.
To find out more about children’s incredible minds, Bored Panda reached out to Susan Engel, an award-winning book author and senior lecturer at the Dept of Psychology and Gaudino Scholar at Williams College, Massachusetts.
According to Susan, all babies are born curious and are equipped with antenna for detecting novelty. The only difference from adults is that newborns are curious about everything. “A two-year-old wants to know about a little about everything, a 12 or 22-year-old wants to know a lot about some things, and the more they know, the more sophisticated their questions are,” she explained.
My Six-Year-Old Nephew Bridger Saved His Little Sister’s Life By Standing Between Her And A Charging Dog
After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. We love our brave boy and want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks.
Kate Yelled Out In The Store "Daddy I Have A Twin!" The World Could Learn From Kids
Meanwhile, as we grow up, our sense of “curiosity tends to get narrower (zero in on specific topics, phenomena, conundrums, etc.), and for some, their curiosity gets simultaneously deeper,” Susan explained.
“Conversations, exploration, and tinkering, all essential activities,” are all the things that nurture children’s inborn thirst for the world around them as they grow to experience it. Susan suggests giving children “lots of time and opportunity to explore, to noodle around with objects, and to talk, however odd and circuitous the conversation may seem.”
I’m So Proud Of My Son, He Seen A Kid Balled Up Into A Corner Crying, So He Went To Console Him, Grabbed His Hand And Walked Him Inside Of The School
It is an honor to raise such a loving, compassionate child! He’s a kid with a big heart, the first day of school started off right.
Just Wanted To Shed Some Light In This Dark World We Live In
My beautiful nana passed away August 9th, peacefully in her home. Please never forget this beautiful story. It was meant to spread love and kindness, and unfortunately many have turned it into something so negative.
How could people turn this into something negative?? I tear up every time I see this! It makes my heart so happy!
12-Year-Old Kid Makes Shelter Cats And Dogs Stylish Bow Ties To Help Them Find A Home
Despite his young age, a 12-year-old from New Jersey with a heart of gold, Darius Brown has taken an initiative to help our furry friends get adopted much faster. He creates handmade stylish bow ties for four-legged companions (cats and dogs) and donates them to animal shelters to attract the attention of future owners.
Gosh, those are some AMAZING bow ties! An eye for design like that is so rare.
Late Last Night, Myles Went On And On About How He Had To Be Twins With A Boy In His Class For Twin Day Because They Look Exactly The Same — Same Eyes, Same Hair. He Was Adamant That They Were Identical
So, after the kids went to bed, I headed to Walmart at 9 p.m. to get matching outfits. Their teacher sent me this picture today. My heart melted.
Obviously, they are two very different children, but Myles didn’t see that. Wouldn’t the world be such a better place if we could all view it through the eyes of a couple 5-year-olds.
There is a story of two little girls like this. I think it is adorable. We need people like this.
No Shame In Loving Your Mom
Often, adults stop encouraging kids' enquiries as they don’t really know the answer, but it would be best to do the contrary. Susan said that the important things parents could do are really take care of themselves and “nurture their own curiosity,” because “children are incredibly responsive to role models.”
Their ability to learn from role models applies to all the other complex traits, like empathy and kindness. According to scientists, “prosocial behavior,” which is essentially showing helpfulness and kindness to others, emerges as early as the second year of life. Toddlers can bite, snatch, and shout at people, but they can also be gentle and comforting.
A 7 Year Old Promise
A lot of grade-school aged kids may have stayed away from my sister Mary or thought she was weird because she has Downs Syndrome. But not Ben. He always looked out for her, always made sure to pick her on his team at recess and even made a promise to her in 4th grade to take her to the prom someday. 7 years later, he made good on that promise and in the process put a smile on Mary's face & restored my faith in humanity. Have a great time at the prom you two!
Boy Prevents Kidnapping Of A Young Girl
This is Tiernan McCready. This is what a hero looks like.
Last week in the Bogside he saw three males grab an 18 year old girl and try to get her in their van.
Most ADULTS would be paralysed in shock, confusion or fear and fail to act till it was too late. Tiernan reacted instantly and shouted at the males and led the girl away to safety. He then told his mum who rang Police.
Let that sink in
This could have been the start of a potentially serious and harrowing crime. That girl could have been my child, my sister, your child, your family member.
The Bogside, Brandywell, and The Fountain Neighbourhood Team presented Tiernan with a PSNI Badge of Honour (and some Malteasers). But this doesn’t go anywhere near to paying off the debt our community owes this boy. Our youngsters often get a bad rep but remember the vast majority are brave and big hearted just like Tiernan.
What a brave young man, I'm so glad he and the woman are ok that could have gone so wrong

Scientists believe that prosocial behaviors first manifest at one year old with basic things like showing and giving. Quite simply, if “these actions receive positive responses from parents, babies’ motivation for prosocial action is enhanced,” explains Dr. Celia Brownell at the University of Pittsburgh.

He takes her bags & carries them. Then, puts his hand in between her head & railing so she can use it as a pillow.
Moreover, if toddlers see their parents acting kind towards one another, they are much more likely to engage in similar behavior. Actively discussing emotions and needs with their toddlers is likely to also nurture prosocial behavior, and when combined with a child’s inner sense of curiosity, it will surely pave a solid path to kind and open-minded individuals as they grow up.

I teach 8th grade. This week, my homeroom took an angel off the “giving tree” - a little girl. All she asked for was a bike & clothes. My kids all agreed to bring in $2 each & we’d buy her clothes because we couldn’t afford to get the bike. Then today, very quietly one of them came to my room with this.

This happened to me. We had just moved, and I was in 7th grade, and a girl I barely knew by name came over and asked me if I'd like to go to her house for a sleepover that weekend. Out of nowhere! Needless to say, we were close friends for many years thereafter! It really does feel better than anything, to know someone thinks about you as a real live human.

Absolutely loved this post, many tears shed that’s fo sure. One day after shopping with my son, he noticed a lot of rubbish scattered over the carpark and path outside the shopping centre as we were walking to the taxi rank. As we were walking he was picking up rubbish. It was a windy day so the rubbish was flying everywhere, there were times it went on the carpark so I made sure he didn’t go there, but in the end the wind blew most of it back on the path again. Luckily there was a bin nearby coz he had handful after handful. Every so often he will pick up rubbish he sees but only if there is a bin nearby coz he doesn’t want to carry it lol.
This entire post made me smile. I am still a kid myself, and this post served as a reminder to not give up. We are the future and I see so much love and acceptance from the children in these posts. I'm glad to grow up with these people in my overall generation, no matter how many miles away they may be. Things are gonna be ok.
These kids have more of a sense of basic kindness and humanity than most adults I know. I really hope they grow up and keep these qualities, as we need people like them. <3
Kids will surprise you! A few years ago we unfortunately had three kids in our school district that were diagnosed with cancer. My boys and the neighbor kids got together and had a Kool-Aid/lemonade stand and saw the little arts and crafts that they made. By the end of summer, they had raised over $300 and donated all of it towards those children’s cancer funds.
One of the best posts here. I'm not crying - you're crying T.T
Kids are lovely. Some of them are smarter than most adults. All of them are innocent and most seek justice. So next time you see a kid, drop a thank you :)

This is a really lovely and genuine post! I think that many people underestimate just how empathetic, courageous, and sensitive children and young adults can truly be. All of the actions of the children and adolescents in this post were so pure and came from their hearts. We often think that children are not capable of understanding and reacting to more abstract concepts like empathy, but they always manage to truly surprise us. I think that a child's mind is so much more complex than we often give them credit for.
My heart is exploding just now. I've had a horrible few weeks and this is exactly what I needed. The world can be such a beautiful place. It's so easy to forget this. These people ...... just wow. There is no words.
I'm a 46 year old man on a train to a heavy metal festival and I'm sobbing reading these stories. Embarrassing that kids can teach us so much and they are supposed to learn from us.
The one about the charging dog was absolutely heartbreaking for me. I hope that hero is doing great. :)
One of the greatest accomplishments in the world is getting a hug from a little kid. It means that they see you as someone to trust. Kids are so honest that if they don't like you, they will tell you. A couple years ago, I was a reading tutor to kindergartners. Anytime one of my students gave me a hug, it was such a pure feeling. Kids have so much light in them and deserve to be raised in a society where their unique light is honored and encouraged. Kids are incredibly insightful, and deserve more credit than they are given.

Yes, I'm more or less child-indifferent. No, I didn't really didn't just empty a box of Puffs going through this. I DIDN'T - I REALLY, REALLY DIDN'T! I SUPER-DUPER SWEAR I REALLY, REALLY DIDN'T!
Can we please stop posting pictures of kids crying, though? How’d you like it if you realized one day that a photo of one of the worst days of your life as a child was all over the Internet? Maybe at least do the eye censors for those kids.
