I wonder how porn might have been implicated in this. Where else would 15-year-old get the notion of filming themselves doing something intimate? When I was 15 we didn't even do things that were especially intimate. Our entire society is being corrupted by porn and teen and pre-teen girls are being victimized.

I am baffled by the attitude of all the official authorities in this case: school, police, even parents. Why has a restraining order affected HER life so negatively and everybody took HIS side??? Is it normal for a guy to break into somebody else's apartment so much so that it doesn't raise red flags to anybody among those who took his side? Is it just an "innocent coincidence" that wherever she would go he seems to be already there or go shortly after?? How is that nobody appear not to have given too much thought as to the reasons of the girl's actions. After all, she wanted to break up, why would she have to face threats, retaliations and stalking? I am at a loss understanding as to how everybody found all that Ok to do on the guy's side!!

I wish the video was clearer on what was meant by being taken advantage of, was she raped, did he make promises that he did not keep, If it was the former why did the police officer do nothing, also was there an actual video or were they just rumours? I really hope she's ok but the way the story is told requires us to fill in a lot of blanks in our own head.

I can't tell if he used emotional blackmail or physical force or both. The fact that people rallied to his defense and bullied her suggests that he may be manipulative. In any case, there's no justification for stalking her.

Well in my state, age matters. She was 15. This reads like “Aggravated Stalking of Person Under 16” plus “Aggravated Stalking after an Injunction or No Contact Order” which is a Level 7 felony with a mandatory 21 months in prison, up to 15 years. Did this all take place before Internet revenge porn and cyberstalking laws? I agree with Jane Don’s comments about the facts as presented not making sense.
