Helping her cook a pasta dish I really liked. Unfortunately I was too young to really remember all the ingredients and now I can't recreate it.

It is the strongest memory, I was almost six years old. My mom had my baby sis in October of 68. I was barely five. My parents separated. My sis had colic and Mom who couldn't drive left the house to go to a convenient store ( ostensibly for coke cola) she remained there chatting. My sister began crying, I didn't know who to call, so I climbed into the crib and let her suck my thumb....I at first wanted her to stop crying, but , then I realized I loved her. Parents didn't even tell me they were expecting, and mom was heavy, but I loved that little girl.

It's small and old and not fancy but when it's raining and storming outside, there is no place that feels better to me.

I have the best coworkers, I'm very lucky to be able to say that.

When I turned 8 there was crazy weather. My birthday is in the Summer but this year the weather was insane amounds of ain and thunder and lightning. My dad still talks about it 30 years later. Lol. I remember sitting on the couch and the daylight turned darker and darker within a few minutes.
