What Does A Comic Strip Cat And Attila The Hun Have In Common? According To Mr. Pawmantic A Lot!
Every cat owner, I am sorry cat service staff, is very aware of the different character issues and problematic behavior caused by their beloved furry friend. Mariana Benkovic, Croatian artist and illustrator, a long time Garfirld comic strip enthusiast and an absolute cat lover has decided to embody all those characteristic into a a comic strip hero called Mr. Pawmantic. Mr. Pawmantic is based on a real cat, a lovely always grumpy 10 year old miss called Balusa. “Her character is so special and amusing. Mr. Pawmantic just came alive one day. It started with a short 5 min sketch and two hours later the first comic strip was live.” sais Mariana. A cat with an absolute hero in Atilla the Hun? How that came to be? “Balusa has a very regal and entitled way of presenting herself so a historical figure as a hero came as a natural choice and since Attila was geographically near us, we are located in sunny Croatia, seemed like a perfect fit. “You can follow Mr. Pawmantic on Instagram.
