We’ve Visited 27 Countries And Traveled 60,000km On A Vespa Scooter

We are Stergios and Alexandra aka “worldvespa”, and on the 27th of October 2013, we departed from Greece on a big journey around the world, riding our small Vespa scooter.

We traveled non-stop for 859 days across the west coast of Africa and in South America, doing a total of 60,000km, visiting 27 countries (Greece, Italy, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Chile & Brazil).

During the last 7 years, our trusty little Vespa has been to 47 countries in 3 continents, covering a distance of approximately 180,000 kilometers without any major issues! This trip will not finish until we’ve been everywhere our Vespa can take us!

Everytime I see post like this, first thing came to my mind is 'how much money do we need to do the trip?' Since my country currency is low

Always depends on the way you're traveling! For the first part of the trip, 14 months in Africa, Stergios - he was traveling alone - spent 5,400€ or 12€ per day (including EVERYTHING).
