Well yeah. Dogs will give you unconditional love and friendship, they're not deliberately malicious, etc. Humans have and still do terrible things to other humans; you never have to guess if a dog has ulterior motives.

And rightfully so. Dogs are good and pure. They love unconditionally and if given a choice they will always lay their lives down for their person. We do not deserve dogs
