They taste a bit like a juicy cucumber, but there's so many damn seeds there's really not much to actually eat.

I bought one of these for a painting project. When finished, my husband and I ate it. We didn't find that it had much flavor.

I really do not like this, though. You can find it really often in super markets in south east Asia. It's tasteless to me.

Me too. I really prefer the version that's in drinks instead of the fresh fruit, and that's rare for me to say.

Actually is part of cactus family. Can be tasteless but if grown correctly with right soil and conditions it has a fantastic sweet flavor. Am eating one right now.

This is the fruit from the cactus plant. The red-fleshed variety is sweeter than the white-fleshed ones. The seeds are edible.

Doesn't make it any less weird. Bright pink and green outside, black and white inside!

It is kaffir lime. Markut is a Thai word for it. We sometimes use it in soup, but these days, it's mostly found in shampoos and soaps.
