By now, we are all aware that the internet is a universe of its own. It contains vast amounts of the strangest things. Whether they are all useful is another question, and we would like to avoid that discussion. Instead of that, we have something amusingly random prepared.
Let us introduce you to the "Hard Images" Instagram page. Created in 2020, it shares pictures that “go hard”. What does it mean, exactly, you might ask? Well, why don’t you see for yourself! What ties these images together is that the people in them are not afraid to be extraordinary. They're comfortable standing out and showing their unique, quirky sides. Being cool isn't just about looking good; it's about having a certain way of acting and thinking that makes them stand out. Like that guy with a giant guitar or this dude rocking his graduation cap and gown.
What makes someone cool is a tricky question, and the answer can be different for each person. But one thing is for sure—they all have something special that makes you want to be around them. Wouldn’t you want to join this guy for a walk or listen to a 2PAC CD with this lady? Yeah, we thought so.
According to clinical psychologist Dr. Julie Gurner, who’s focused on identifying and understanding the patterns of behavior, a "cool" person is usually someone who acts confidently and has their own unique way of doing things.
Being cool also involves embracing your true self, being genuine, and treating everyone with kindness, among other things. These qualities can affect how you connect with others and how you see the world. They can also make you feel more energized, both inside yourself and in your interactions with the world around you.

"Hard Images" doesn't mess around when it comes to coolness. This Instagram page is a goldmine for those who radiate toughness. But if you ever feel less than cool or lack confidence, don't worry. As cliché as it may sound, sometimes you have to "fake it 'til you make it.” Gurner explained that in reality, if you become the person you truly are inside and want to be, hardly anyone will notice the change.
So what is cool for you? Is it a person wearing a leather jacket riding a motorcycle on a wide-open road? Maybe it's the drummer in a band, someone who loves reading psychological books, or a stylish neighbor known for their great passion for houseplants?
