For them, this was a gathering to give back to and celebrate the community that supports them. They entire thing was COMPLETELY Leave No Trace, so no we didn't leave the slacklines or space net attached to the rocks. A group of volunteers cleaned up afterwards and we even managed to raise a few thousand dollars to put towards land stewardship during the subsequent festival. The community worked closely with the Bureau of Land Management mitigate impact. This couple is not even remotely narcissistic. They had wedding photos taken, as most people do. Why does this make you so angry? I'll admit I thought this was a bit extravagant for my taste, but these people look happy so good on them. I don't understand the knee-jerk compulsion to dismiss people as "privileged" as if you're owed something. Your condescension smacks of envy.
