We Craft Unique Night Lamps From Glowing Crystals On Mossy Logs (23 Pics)
We had a dream of creating an otherworldly night lamp that would look like something straight out of a fairy tale. We wanted people to start asking: “did you find this in nature, just lying around?” We wanted them to wonder if crystals really DO grow on trees.
Well, they do not. We just gathered some fallen timber from our forest in Northern Europe, got some stabilized moss which remains soft forever, and added some huge quartz crystals. And then… voila! The fantasy that was in our heads became a reality.

I presume you drill small holes on top of the log, and also a tunnel through the log, making sure to keep the ends so you can cover up the tunnel full of wires and lights. Then you put one of those miniature lights (string)in each hole, and place a quartz crystsl over top, so that it's lit up from below, and illuminated throughout. The rest is hot gluing on dried moss, possibly dyed a desireable color, and covering up the ends of the log, having threaded the electric cord through a small hole.
