I will explain my artproject:

I am an hobby digital artist and I am trying to create art which looks like traditional.

I don´t have the money to buy real colors and a lot of sketch blocks. So I have only one and I use Corel Painter for creating my art.
But there are thounds of artist in this genre.
So I had the idea: If you create digital Art, why should it looks smooth like million other artworks/wallpapers?
I created own brushes with my scans of a few paintstrokes and used them for my traditional look-alike paintings.

First I take some photos of my sketch block and some real pencils, brushes etc around and start to paint over that image.

Hmmm I should gave this project a name….

Traditional Fake? Photo Art? I don´t know :) But I am happy with the results.

I will change the categories of my other paintings soon and I am sorry because I confused other artists now :)
Traditional art and digital art go hand in hand. I mean for digital works you still have to sketch out your idea, which is of cause drawing=traditional art.
But it cant really be compared. I love all kind of techniques but traditional painting is to expensive for me

What do you think? Should I create more artworks in this style?
