I Started Drawing Miniature Paintings Because I Did Not Have Time For Bigger Drawings And Now It’s My Passion
Hi, there! My name is Julia. I'm 31. I am an artist from Ukraine.
I started to make miniature watercolor drawings about three years ago when I worked at the office all day and didn't have enough time to create anything bigger. I grew fond of this drawing technique - putting a number of details into tiny intricate drawings.
Now miniature paintings are my passion. All of my tiny paintings are not bigger than 3 cm in length, and every time I create something new is a real challenge for me. When I paint, I feel like a jeweler who is cutting a diamond, having no right to make a mistake. I paint with bated breath.
I am thankful to my customers from all over the world for their support, confidence, and warm words they write to me when they receive my watercolor art. It is a pleasure for me to know that my drawing ideas are a tiny treasure bringing joy to people somewhere overseas.
Below are some of my works. I hope you'll like them! Thank you!

You are an amazing artist, you capture expression and movement in these! I also love that you include your paper showing color strokes for each image
They look so 3-dimensional! It's as if you can pick up each and every one! How can we buy one (or more...)??
How can you put so many details in such tiny art? You're doing it well, please think to add your new creations, they are just perfect!
I loved them all and pretty much just went through and upvoted every picture
I was obsessed with miniatures (figurines made of glass especially), I have those from all over the world. Now I appreciate your art even better, I'm amazed with all the details. Just love them, wish you the best! :)
Lorraine Loots of Painting for Ants has been doing this for years. Your work is almost identical to hers.

Your talent is amazing! I wish you lots of success in doing what you obviously love!
I have a question, do you have to use a magnifying glass to get all the details?
Amazing work! I too used to do a lot of small detailed drawings, yours are amazing/.
Hats off. Absolutely hats off to this amount of detail in such a small space.
