Eolo Perfido takes us on this unexpected journey showing us Italy and Italians from a new and very different perspective in his photo series.
The Street Photographer Magazine wrote, “Italy seems a different place in black and white photos of Eolo Perfido. The country that we are used to seeing in color takes on a very different atmosphere, almost distant and classic. These interesting photos take us back to a country that for some reason reminds us of Italy of the 50ties just a few years after the war.”
At the beginning of his photographic journey, Eolo had the honor to assist on the field and learn from such professional photographers as Steve McCurry, Elliott Erwitt, James Nachtwey, and Eugene Richards. As one of the Leica Akademie resident photographers, Eolo also teaches Street Photography workshops around the world.
