It looks like a close up of a Grevillea (spider flower)... almost at "full bloom". They are native plants here in Australia.... A quick Google search showed ones in full bloom and ones similar to this pic, but I could be wrong 🤷‍♀️

Even though I'm 50, if I get a bouquet with snapdragons in it, I have to pluck one off and make it talk.

Poppies over here in New Zealand (as well as Australia) are very symbolic for us of world war 1, and a particular battle that too place.

Mmm ... My great grandmother's favorite! My mother has always had lilacs planted at all of her homes and would bring their overly scent inside! Precious memories!

Do you remember when Sunset magazine featured it on the front cover (1988??)? I knew I had to have one and I eventually did buy and plant one. The most perfect rose fragrance you'll ever find.

Short story about these bulbs - I planted them late, so when their season came and went with no blooms, I thought they died. All of a sudden, these shot up in the early Fall. They looked eerily beautiful in the night, and I'm so glad I got a photo at their peak beauty! I can't wait to see them in a few more months!
