You may have seen videos circulating on the Internet that allege COVID vaccines are being used to inject individuals with microchip technology. You know, to track them and alert government officials of their whereabouts. But even though these claims sound absolutely ridiculous, some people still believe them.

Recently, Afghanistan veteran Patrick Loller got so sick and tired of hearing about this nonsense, he made a TikTok video to destroy the myth once and for all. Pointing out its flaws, Loller used his own experience from the army and made a really convincing (and entertaining) case in favor of common sense.

More info: TikTok

The COVID vaccine microchip conspiracy theories began emerging last year even before the vaccines were available. These theories maintained that vaccination was just an excuse to inject some type of microchip into you that could then allow others to track you and your behaviors.

For example, such claims appeared in the conspiracy theory-loaded “Planet Lockdown” video and, as reported by the Associated Press, Sandoval Iñiguez, an emeritus archbishop of the archdiocese of Guadalajara, had posted a video on Facebook in which he spoke of “the chip that they are planning to put in the vaccine to control you, it is the mark of the beast.” The irony, of course, is that he posted the video on Facebook, the platform that is definitely tracking you.

Even Bill Gates got dragged into the whole ordeal. In fact, one YouGov poll of 1,640 people (conducted in May 2020) suggests that at the time 28% of Americans believed that the billionaire wants to use vaccines to implant microchips in people – with the figure rising to 44% among Republicans.

Who knows how long this whole vaccine microchip ordeal will go on. Let’s just hope that Patrick’s video has at least made it shorter.

Patrick’s TikTok video already has over 1.7 million views

There are also some conspiracy theories fans (I met some even here, at Bored Panda, a few days ago) who are sure that 1) the vaccine was produced for killing the old people / 2) the vaccine was produced for reducing world population. My wife is a medic, but she worked for a Big Pharma corporation in the '90's; she told me that all the pharma companies really love old / chronically ill people, because there's where the big money comes from. And imagine a world conspiracy to "reduce the world population": it means to reduce the number of potential buyers of everything, from Microsoft licences, smartphones, Ferrari cars, Armani suits, Rolex watches, Roederer champagne and yachts to Chinese fake plastic stuff. No way!

What blows my mind is the people who think it's population control believe that the government wanted to get rid of all the scientists, doctors, PhD, etc. because they are the ones taking it. Jim Bob with an elementary education thinks he is the one that's going to outsmart the government.

There's no need to inject trackers. The government already can pinpoint your location based on to what cell tower your phone is connecting.

My absolute favorite argument to these people has been approximately 6 words - do you have a cell phone? I'm still waiting for the back arguments like "well, I turned off the location services" or something but so far they have all been way to baffled by the simplicity of having a giant tracker on them already.

I know the internet has failed at its job when obviously impossible and logistically insane "theories" like microchipping via vaccines becomes a byline of more than just a tiny cult of attention-seekers. Remember when they used to call the internet the "information superhighway"? Now it's the misinformation cesspit. Treasure troves of knowledge shoved aside to make way for echo chambers to reinforce fact-free diatribes railing against basic reasoning and logic. Tragic.

Only if you use Google. I use duckduckgo mostly because they don't remove results from searches. I'm finding more pro vaxxers have locked onto this bullshit theory than anti vaxxers, and are using it to discredit real info about covid vaccines. It's a smokescreen and anyone, like this fuckn tripper vet used it for maximum effect to dissuade the ones who are reluctant to have the Vax based on the pure science that it hasn't been properly tested. Imagine if they released every Vax and medication without proper testing?

It's the government. META DATA RETENTION LAWS. look it up you'll be mortified. I'm Australian and here, there are now 87 agencies, that have access to that info- schools, animal welfare (RSPCA), divorce and Family lawyers. It's so corrupt its disgusting and yet Noone seems to know about it. Many countries do it. Edward Snowden got jailed for informing Americans that was what the gvt was doing. I understand that the gvt in USA was NOT allowed to spy on Americans in America, only outside. Now they spy on everyone. This is not about terrorism, it's about silencing those factions that call out gvts for wrong doing.

I'm on the evening shift at the clinic for vaccinations. (Yes, we're now open until 10 PM!) In the last week alone: Woman said "But it was on X-Files". (Great resource for reliable information, eh?) Man wrapped copper around his arms to "negate the tracker energy". (?!) One woman came in wearing the hugest freaking quartz crystal I've seen outside gem displays, and prayed the whole fifteen-minute post-shot wait for "all the evil to go into the stone". You can't invent stupid like this. Only thing I haven't seen yet is a Geiger counter, but hey, I'm not there all the time!

The government already knows your SSN, home address, email addresses, work address, phone numbers, driver’s license number, license plate number, credit card numbers, and bank account numbers. They already know where you are and where you’re going, and don’t really care, Cletus. Don’t flatter yourself by thinking you’re so important the government is going to put a chip in you and track you from your double-wide trailer to Walmart to pick up some beer and burritos.

Why would the government even try to track us surreptitiously when nearly all of us willingly carry a tracking device (with a camera and microphone too!), and even make sure it's charged every night. And it's not just the government tracking us, but our cell phone carriers, the cell phone manufacturer, and the authors of any app that we gave location permission to.

I was talking to someone who insist that they are chipping us like we our pets. So they could track us. I couldn't get her to see that the chips in our pets don't transmit their locations. It would be cool if they did, much easier to find Fluffy. She didn't get that someone scans the chip and reads the info stored on it. And she couldn't explain how they could get each chip programmed properly as the injections are don.

I'm sure there are people on the fringe that believe this. Most people that are refusing the vaccine are normal people that just want to wait and see possible long term effects. Also, young women of child bearing age that want to be sure it doesn't cause birth defects, as no one can answer these questions at this point.

The media has "created" enough info to get people to believe that it's fully effective and safe. Astra trials put thier efficacy at 67%. It's in all the trial data. Noone looks and media reported 75, then 90 and now its somehow gotten to 97% efficacy without further testing. They've also stated it will not cover mutant versions from Africa and England. It was created from the FIRST strain of corona in China.

I ended up having to get 3 doses of the Pfizer vaccine (long story) and I've been joking with friends that I can cancel my wifi and cable bill now because I've got that 5G superpower. No matter how deep in the mountains I'm camping, I'll still have signal. It's awesome. (Also, the only side effect I had with any of these vaccines was a sore arm...was that the microchip??)

Here's what I don't get: I keep hearing how "the government" (btw this is apparently a WORLD government, not a specific country's government) is injecting tracking nanobots with the vaccine that go all through your system etc. Okay, great. I give blood regularly. What happens to those microscopic nanobots? If they're all through my system that means they're in my blood right? The same blood I've just donated. So now MY nanobots are not only in my body but also in a bag somewhere. Does that mean that the trackers think there are multiples of me? And when someone needs blood - say several bags of blood during a surgery - they're going to get those nanobots. And presumably the nanobots from the other people who have donated blood. So does that mean that the world government trackers will now think that one person is actually several people?

I had this conversation with an Uber driver! I explained my brother was a blue chip designer and had worked in electronic engineering and chips all his life and that it was impossible for a chip to be inserted in the size of the needle used by vaccines (like a hair!). It's impossible. On another note- why would anyone do this or care about what Martin the Uber Driver is doing anyway- don't flatter yourself! They already have access to his phone, smart TV and any other devices in his home already anyway, not to mention the GPS he uses permanently in his job! Despite logic, expertise and common sense he still believes 'Bill Gates' is out to get us. ( could not explain why, other than to say the workd is over populated and he's in on it). The level of stupidity is just horrifying quite frankly. I despair of this country! I think this is the planets' own form of natural selection : letting the stupid people who are too lazy to learn about vaccines and herd immunity to choose to die.

So they think theres a tracker in vaccines YET they're still surprised that their FB ads show stuff they looked up on Wish.com 3wks ago. Granted, ive waited to get the vaccine myself, mostly because of the fact that the vaccines we already have available are tried & tested for years before released to the public & i want to see what the possible effects are a few months/years down the line. But i understand that that is my own reservation. I also have a crap immune system so im worried about possibly having side effects. Other than that, i know plenty of folks who've gotten either vaccine & been fine with it, so im slowly coming around, even if just for convenience sake. It has nothing to do with the absolute BS these folks can think of! Lol!

Every connected person in Australia is digitally tracked. Our gvt, along with USA, England, France, and alot of middle eastern countries and European countries track everything. It's all done through your internet and phone provider. Here they must retain ALL of your metadata for two years! Google it if you're unsure, it's important. It's your digital footprint. Thinking beyond myself as a good law abiding citizen, I see that as a huge problem here with us, as humanity now completely and utterly controlled. Our media. And everything we do IS our media whether it's a phone call, or an investigation into a government oppressing thier people. Whistleblowers are now jailed for calling out our gvts bad. The whole trakkers in the vaccination is a TOTAL BILLOWING SMOKESCREEN.

Always invest in a great quality VPN. Makes it hard for your provider to track. Not paranoia. And definately well documented it's PUBLIC info. There are us Aussies who still value our privacy. And our freedom. And our right to be informed when our governments do the wrong thing. They have taken our Right to Privacy. Our gvt and 77 agencies have access to everything about you. Looking past yourself do you see maybe that as a problem? To freedom. For the right to choose who stands for our people's basic rights?(look past 1st world here) Real control, real power is controlling INFORMATION. And we just handed it to them to swap and exchange, to quell and snuff any hope of our freedom. The old "made you look👉 when you needed to look 👈" magic propaganda trick.

If you believe that they track you on phones and thru internet websites....why not feel like they are tracking you in some other manner?? After all in every religion they say every soul matters, right? The government (American)heard and was raised on that same ideology. They do track what they can believe that. To not believe it is to literally say your life and your kids lives don't matter and not worth tracking because they will never do anything or impact the world. They can't tell the future but they do KNOW that an idea is all it takes to change the world. They just don't know who'll have that idea. They are tracking you....in multiple ways. I

One woman came in wearing the hugest freaking quartz crystal I've seen outside gem displays, and prayed the whole fifteen-minute post-shot wait for "all the evil to go into the stone". You can't invent stupid like this. Only thing I haven't seen yet is a Geiger counter, but hey, I'm not there all the time!

Even if there was a tracker in the vaccine, I wouldn't even care. What's the government gonna do with that information, call my little sister to tell her I got ice cream without her?

There is no need for these trackers. The government can already pinpoint your location. It blows my mind that people can actually think of things like this.

I'm still shocked that we never had a shortage of tinfoil last year due to the shear amount of morons believing these ludicrous conspiracy theories. If only it was these fools thinned from the herd. No, instead we lose educated, rational people who likely caught it from these idiots!

I will tell everyone where the actual trackers are they are in all of the energy drinks and the vaccine will save you, how about that! Seriously people not only will you save your self and your family you will save people around you. Don't be the people you read about who say they are waiting and miss their opportunity, it almost happened in my family. My family members got covid-19 and survived others did not.

Darn, I'm not important enough for Bill Gates to track me? Isn't the microchip how he found someone willing to bonk his nerdy ass in 2000? Not that I'm interested in him...

Bill Gates will track only people with pirated Windows, he-he! But you can't insert a microchip in a Linux user...

Lol!

If the technology existed then I would suggest putting it into the elderly that require carers. We recently had an old gent go missing and a tracker would be helpful in finding him

why not? Because there's no reason to track the population through a chip. oh.. yeah... the tech also doesn't exist.
