Every now and then, we come across content online that causes a visceral reaction. Adorable photos of puppies might make your heart feel like it's bursting out of your chest, and heartwarming pics of fathers who love their children more than anything might make you shed a tear.
But unfortunately, it’s not only positive content that can make us feel something. Below, you’ll find a list of extremely frustrating posts from the Facepalm subreddit that might incinerate any faith you have left in humanity, as well as a conversation with Beowulf Rochlen, host of the Facepalm America podcast. We’ll warn you right now that you may not enjoy looking through these pics, but we hope you can manage to find the humor in some of them!

Who Ever Runs That Station Is Dumb
This should be at the top. In fact, this should be an article of its own it's so great. I HATE the trend towards stopping the homeless sleeping.
Then they wonder why they are mentally unstable. Take a stressful situation and then deny the person sleep. Recipe for disaster.
Load More Replies...Won't they just sleep on the platform instead? I would if I needed to sleep.
hostile architecture is cheaper than giving us homes--oh wait no it isn't, sorry, I misread my notes there. Giving people homes is cheaper than all the money spent avoiding that, but capitalism relies on there being a homeless population to threaten workers with. The system is working exactly how it is designed to. 🙃
In the Uk they put measures in place, things like making seats bumpy so homeless can't sleep on them - makes you " proud" to British....
The homeless not only need the benches to sleep on, they also need portable latrines to spare the rest of society from the human waste endemic to mass transit stations.
There’s no question that the internet is full of facepalm-worthy posts. With fake news running rampant and terrible photoshop jobs all over social media, it’s not hard to find something that makes you question how it ended up online in the first place. And no one knows that better than the members of the Facepalm subreddit. This community, which was created in August 2009, has amassed an incredible 7.4 million members who love calling out the most frustrating and disappointing moments the world has ever seen.
While we’re all familiar with the experience of seeing something that makes us want to facepalm, it was not until relatively recently that this word made its way into dictionaries. According to Merriam-Webster, the earliest known use of the word ‘facepalm’ was found in a Google Group in 1996. “Christie facepalmed. ‘Well, her hair was red this morning, right? It's blonde now. You figure it out.’” Since then, however, the term has taken on many lives as not only a verb, but also a noun, adjective and interjection. It also finally made its way into the dictionary in 2017.

The incomprehensible part of this is that these kind of people will willfully deny and ignore wisdom and experience from trustworthy sources, if it means they get to remain comfortable and smug in their ignorance.
The Boredpanda community in a nutshell. Where science gets downvoted because the scientific approach and collected data interferes with how people want to perceive reality. And yes you have to question the data and the method how it was collected, don't just take it as is. Any trustworthy source will provide the data they base their knowledge on. And then you can talk about that data and how to interpret it but don't have to argue wether to trust or not trust a person / source.

One of the hospitals told on him, the police raided. However price gouging laws were vague on medical supplies bc pandemic was not covered at the time (Unlike natural disasters), so a deal was worked out, all charges would be dropped in return he would donate all his supplies to NYC to distribute. He agreed, later sued, and won compensation for cost of supplies and storage.
Any person or company who will not share a resource that people require in order to live, at a price that people can afford, should have that resource taken from them. By force if necessary.

Because I feel very strongly about this.. If you pay more than $25/mo for any of your meds and you have private ins. Please look to see if there are manufacturers coupons. Big pharma is running a scam with Medi-care. They charge huge sums for the meds and medi-care pays it. Then ehose of us with private ins. get caught in the middle. They have these coupons to try and protect themselves from a lawsuit, but soooo many people don't know about the coupons and pay the difference, It's Disgusting.
Many manufacturers do provide coupons BUT they can only be used for patients with private insurance or no insurance. They cannot be used if you are on any government funded medial plans, like Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare. Some won't let you use them if you are over the age of 65, regardless if you have insurance or not. They don't offer the coupons to prevent lawsuits, they are legit trying to offset the cost of a brand only medication. The reason they cannot be used with any government funded insurance is because the government already has deals with the manufacturers on what they can charge or what they pay for said drug. I'm not in anyway agreeing with this, I'm just stating on how it works.
Load More Replies...To learn more about the topic of facepalming from an expert, we reached out to Beowulf Rochlen, host of the Facepalm America podcast, who was kind enough to have a chat with Bored Panda about what inspired him to start his show. "I thought there needed to be a podcast that dealt with both issues in the news and with the many, many goofy things Americans are inclined to do," Beowulf shared. "So I launched a show on which I interview guests, chat with listeners, and discuss issues such as 'why do Americans have avocado anxiety?' and 'why is there a Speaker of the Pub in Washington DC?'"
We were also curious why the host thinks it's important to discuss these topics. "There’s a lot of serious news out there," he noted. "And while I don’t avoid that, I think that in order to process the negative, people need something that will make them laugh and keep them engaged with the world around them. Fortunately, Americans are experts at providing facepalm-worthy moments to laugh at, such as US Senators who declare they 'don’t want reality' and Florida sheriffs who send baby pacifiers to suspects."

The landlord spends that $600, paying a plumber to fix his leaking pipes, the plumber gets $600. The plumber spends it and the $600 keeps travelling around and around the economy, and every time there's a transaction, more people benefit from that $600. You give $600 to a rich person, they put it in their wallet and hold on to it. It stops. It sits there. No one benefits. This is why billionaires hoarding money is a problem. The money is being taken out of the system, and it gets invested overseas, or it gets put in an offshore bank.
Don't let a Republican hear you say that. They will call you a Liberal communist anti-American. LOL
Load More Replies...“The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money. Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles. But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet. This was the Captain Samuel Vimes 'Boots' theory of socioeconomic unfairness.”

Load More Replies...People don't realize that investing does not generate anything, it simply transfers it. A homeless person getting $600 will use it to become a more productive individual generating value. The rich person will use $600 as leverage to transfer wealth from someone else. Somehow we have let the takers convince us they are the givers and the ones they robbed into poverty are the problem.
I am talking about passive income. A business owner using cash to create LIVEABLE jobs is being a benefit, but they also don't see 10x return.

When it comes to how Beowulf decides what to discuss on Facepalm America, he told Bored Panda that he has no shortage of inspiration. "I find it difficult to turn on my phone or laptop and read the news without encountering a story that makes me want to bury my face in my hand in order to avert my eyes from the silliness and stupidity being described," he shared.
"But I filter through the news every day to find stories every day that seem to me to strike the right balance of informative and inane. While I suppose I should be used this kind of thing by now, I was taken aback by a story that outlined a new law that would allow 14-year-olds to be bartenders and another in which San Francisco was proposing to use killer robots in their city," the host continued.

I hate the "love = sacrifice" trope. Why would I want to be with someone who expected me to sacrifice my needs and hopes to prove I love them? It would only prove I don't love myself.
Ironically if the trope is right it should devolve into a sacrifice competition. "I'll quit my uni course to work 3 jobs so you can study". "No *I'll* quit my course so you can study!"

Load More Replies...So let me get it right: let's say a 16 year-old gets pregnant. She cannot legally have an abortion cause her parents don't let her so she is forced to give birth. She is now legally responsible for a child. But surprise, she gets pregnant again at 17, still underage, still incapable of have an abortion. She is in an absurd condition where she is legally responsible for another living human but she's not legally able to decide about her body. Makes sense.
Out of curiosity, I just feel like mentioning this out loud. And I want real honest answers (but no hate or anything, I mean this as a serious and legitimate question and I want an honest opinion for it. And if you teach me something I didn’t know before, I’m actually grateful for that). But here is the question, and it’s more of a moral/opinion-type question than a right answer or wrong answer. Obviously depends on circumstances and such. Here goes: Would it be better to have an abortion or to have the baby and give it up for adoption instead? (The second one is my personal opinion, and if you would like me to explain my reasons I will, but I also mean no disrespect and I do not judge others for having a different opinion).
Load More Replies...Exactly - you wouldn't let an under 18 adopt because they're too young, not financially secure etc.
The whole legal abortion argument has a hidden agenda. Most of the conservatives don't really give a rat's a$$ about the unborn. It's evident in their treatment of the already born. What's really going on is trying to reverse women's progress in the world. Turning back time to pre 1960's where MOST (not all) women couldn't get a job or go to college. Couldn't have a credit card or buy a house. Couldn't have their abusive husbands arrested. After doing men's jobs for half the pay throughout WWII, MOST WOMEN refused to return to a life of dependency on a man, and these people want them to.
The people who force women to give birth don't give a s**t about babies or pro-life, all they want is to force women into servitude & reduce their choices & chances.
I have three little daughters. If any of them ever need an abortion, ever, there is nothing I will not do in order to see that they get one. Law or no law. And heaven help anyone who tried to stop me.

Load More Replies...I have an advice for the youngsters. Use condom. First you avoid pregnancies, second keep yourself safe from STD and third - and most important - make christians angry and fuming for braking their divine law to procreate (and conquer the earth) and escape from their control.
51% of cases of abortion involve pregnancies that occurred while using birth control. There is no form of BC that is 100% effective. Oral contraceptives have a failure rate of about 8%-10%. Condoms are only about 87% effective. Of the ones that didn’t use birth control, a large percentage either couldn’t afford it, had no sex education regarding BC, or were prohibited by their partner (via physical, mental and/or emotional abuse). Then, of course, there are all of the women and teenagers that have been SA’d. Those who are able to use birth control, are educated about it, and simply choose not to, are a small minority. All of these pregnancies aren’t happening because everyone is being irresponsible. I’m so tired of that false narrative.

Some proposed explanations for America’s declining intelligence are unhealthy modern diets, increasingly trashy media or a decrease in the quality of education systems and the prevalence of reading, Jessica Stillman at Inc. explains. But she notes that it’s impossible to know exactly what caused the decline in IQ scores, it might even be a technical detail of the IQ tests themselves, meaning we have no reason to fear that we’re getting dumber. “IQ tests generally measure crystallized intelligence more, so changes in schooling that de-emphasize memorization might be driving a decline in scores,” Stillman writes. “If this explanation is true, students remain as smart as ever (just way more reliant on Google).”

Good for you for learning and reconsidering your stance, that’s great :) I lived in downtown Vancouver once, got a new cell phone so I asked the nice homeless fellow who hung around the McDonalds near my apartment if he’d like my old one. As far as I remember, he knew of an alley or something where a restaurant had some outdoor outlet he could charge it in every night. I never know what housed people are accusing homeless people of when they ask “how do they not have a home but they have a cell phone?” Like what are you trying to say, they’re cold and hungry but yet they just selfishly saved all their panhandling money until they had $1800 plus tax for the latest iPhone? 😂 Do you know how hard it is to get a job without a phone number, people? 😝 (not you Roan, i’m just shouting into the void atm)

That can be worked around by getting a pre-pay sim card and using that for emergencies and applying for job and/or looking for new place to live. Same goes for car.

While some like to argue that the internet is making us stupider, as we can rely on Google to solve all of our problems and we’re often confronted with ridiculous views on the world from questionable influencers who probably shouldn’t have platforms, Brian Resnick at Vox has a more optimistic take on the issue. He claims that the internet isn’t making us stupider, but instead more humble. When we know that the answers to our questions are actually out there, a simple Google search away, we’re less likely to spew our beliefs when we’re not 100% sure they’re correct. We recognize that we might not actually know all the answers, but someone, or something, out there does.

Hans, you ignorant slutboy, how about you take a look at the Koran? I think you’ll find a lot of it sounds really familiar, because a good portion of it is just like the Bible. The golden rule, the stories and parables are essentially the same, just from another culture’s perspective. If religion is so important to you, don’t limit yourself to just studying your own. Expand your mind and study other religions too. Hell, at least take a Comparative Religions course, ffs. Your head will explode when you find out just how much alike we all are.

It Would Have Been Nice A Heads Up
If Grandpa and the family were evil, they would all say they don't see Grandpa's twin.
This happened to me with my Uncle Paul. I was in the kitchen at his house with my Aunt after the funeral, and Paul's identical twin brother came in. I about s**t my pants.
Same with my Aunt at her funeral, I'm going into one of the stalls and her identical twin walked in the door through the bathroom. I sit down and try to pinch myself awake. I come out and my mom comes in. My mom says to me you look like you saw a ghost. I tell her what happened and she apologized as she and my dad had forgotten to tell me about her. (My dad was a foster child so I didn't meet all his siblings)
Load More Replies...I had the same with my grandmother. Her sister was at the funeral, I had never seen her before. She looked exactly like my grandma, I got quite a shock when I saw her.
So, similar story: my aunt passed away and there was a small family luncheon before the funeral. I was not close to this aunt (none of us were really, there were a lot of issues), but I learned that day she had a sister...a sister only one year older, looked exactly the same, same mannerisms, and sounded like her too. I nearly fell out of my chair at the table it freaked me out.
Resnick also notes that having the vast knowledge of the internet available to us also raises the stakes for us to be correct. If your child asks you what the capital of Argentina is, you might not just blurt out the first city that comes to your mind, but instead take a moment to wonder if it really is Buenos Aires. “Whether this is good or bad depends on context,” Resnick writes. “But here's an optimistic takeaway: It's not so bad for us to be reminded there's an impossibly large amount of information in the world, to take a step back and be humbled and in awe of it.”

After midnight, three plain clothes Louisville Metro police officers used a battering ram to enter Taylor's apartment in search of a suspect wanted for drug trafficking. They were investigating a man, Jamarcus Glover, that Breonna Taylor had previously dated. Taylor and Walker were in bed at the time. Believing that they were being robbed, Walker, a licensed gun-owner, fired his gun at them, striking one of them, Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly, in the leg. 1/2

Load More Replies...Probably most people wore masks in Japan due to a sense of responsibility for society and the well-being of others. I'll not even drag the US into this- we had a lot of people who only cared about their own comfort and what they themselves wanted, right here in Europe. Religious people gathered in a church in my local area, and the whole congregation became a superspreader clump, causing several deaths. An elderly relative who participated ended up permanently in a nursing-home after barely surviving covid. A "don't believe in this covid nonsense" convention was held illegally near the capital, and the leader and many others died, some became superspreaders. It was disgusting behaviour, and it came about because they were more concerned with themselves and their rights, than the safety of others.
The US has earned criticism on several fronts, but there were MANY countries with idiots who didn't want to wear masks. This was, in no way, a uniquely American thing.
Oh yeah, we had our fair share here in Aus too - we now have their 'sovereign bladdy citizens' as well!

Say what you will, but COVID raised our potential intelligence by weeding out quite a few idiots. I work in an intensive care unit and witnessed people saying, "COVID isn't real", while taking their last struggling breaths, dying of COVID. Can't make it up.
Japan had over 10000 Covid deaths. Half occurred because they insisted on holding the **€$ing Olympics. Still 1% of US total
They hosted the olympics without an in-stadium audience (minus a few super vips) with a stripped down opening performance/parade, and had strict rules on where the athletes were allowed to go. Truth is, "antimask" types DO exist in Japan, they just aren't as common and loud and annoying as their US counterpart.

Load More Replies...Sorry but slavery has not been abolished, it still exists in many countries, including the US.
"No longer enslaving other humans" isn't some great moral achievement that every subsequent generation of white people gets to wave as a giant virtual-signaling device. It's one of the bare minimum requirements of not being evil.
Therefore, almost all humans were evil a few hundred years ago when slavery was widely accepted around the globe and practiced by most civilizations. My, my, aren't we lucky to live in an era when there are so many non-evil humans!

We are still stuck on ethnicity here? People with money had slaves, people without money objected. Key ethnicity was represented on both sides of this. Slavery COULD have been shut down peacefully, as was done in the UK, but the US chose violence. Welcome to the money holders misdirecting us against each other again.
race is still a series issue in the us. black people are 2.22 times more likely to be shot by the police, and there are 3 times as many black (compared to white people) people in prison despite us still being a minority. so yes we are still stuck on ethnicity.

Fauci is the perfect example of how science works. Revise your theory when new facts are uncovered. Plus, originally Fauci and scientists determined wearing a mask did not prevent you from getting COVID, but they discovered quickly that wearing one would prevent OTHERS from getting COVID from you, which is why surgeons and nurses wear them during operations.
Exactly. You wear a mask to protect the world from you....not to protect you from the world.
Load More Replies...I was very skeptical about wearing masks in the beginning. My thinking was the size of the virus is so much smaller than the holes in the weave of the fabric. Therefore, the virus would move through the holes like water through a sieve. However, when it was explained the virus is transported on water droplets (coughs, sneezes and normal respiration). I was able to understand mask will be able to stop the water droplets, and hence the virus. In short, I received new information and changed my opinion.
As it should be! I was very skeptical about the mask issue initially for the same reason, it doesn't magically sterilize the air you breathe. Then someone explained it like wearing underwear when you have diarrhea. It doesn't stop the s**t from coming out, it just stops the s**t from going all over the place. So if we all kept our s**t to ourselves we wouldn't be covered in other people's s**t!

Make forced vaccination for a illness with a 98% survival rate make sense.
You cannot expect anyone to make sense of something without any sense.
All vaccines comes with risks. All vaccines. To make an informed decision you need to way the risks of getting the disease VS the risk of the vaccine. Taking booster shots increase the risk of side effects from the vaccine. A lot. There are many reasons to limit the shots or even not take any shots at all. 'Trusting the science' doesn't mean obeying the government. It means making informed decisions by looking at both sides of the argument and evaluating and re-evaluating based on new information. Have a nice day.
To be fair when the first news of the vaccine complications broke I couldn't even get a shot but was getting close to availability. More importantly there weren't initially stats about the actual risk yet. So holding off until stats are actually available makes sense. But once the stats are known and publicised then yeah, math should kick in and you make the statistically sensible decision.

« Military time » 😂 Most of the countries in the world use the 24 format and it has nothing to do with the military. it’s so much more logical and practical (the reason why the military uses it) As usual, look who seems unable to do such a simple task..
Well, dear America also has feet and inches instead of centimeters and meters, and does month/day/year instead of logically ordering them by time frame day/month/year, so ... I am seeing a trend here!

Here in Sweden we are apparently war criminals because we use the rational 24 hour clock. We are also, the whole country, criminals because some rando idiot burnt the Koran in public. Probably a stunt set up by the Russians to delay Sweden's NATO entry.
My condolences from a Finn. It’s unfortunate one person, possibly with ulterior motives, can cause so much damage to processes like these. We have our own share of Russian-minded people that try to do that here. In Finland burning religious books publicly to demonstrate is still forbidden, that is probably the only reason we didn’t run into problems like these.

Or rich people could just pay their workers decent salaries, and pay more taxes, so the world wouldn't be dependent on the whims of rich people.
The thing is many of the super rich don't really have that many workers anymore. Gates for example still owns stock but he doesn't actually run the company anymore, as such he doesn't decide the salaries. Taxes are enforced by the government, so they need to adjust those policies. So it comes down to their whims what actually gets done.

That last one would trigger massive inflation, but I would up adjust everything I mentioned above to account for that and at least that means the rich take the brunt of fixing the problem we're in. After that, if things got bad again, I would go live in the forest and stop talking to other people because i just don't understand...

It would be great if we put in a wage system like Australia for example, where minimum wage is changed by age group. Sure, teenagers living with their parents still don't need to be making a livable wage. But adults should be able to survive on the money they make without struggling to pay for basic human rights in contemporary society
Indeed, and it isn't just in fast food either. I had a government job at 17. Paid on the lowest pay scale. Once I turned 18 automatic pay rise. What I was paid back then wasn't much, but it was still a living wage.

Devils advocate here.... i think the point people were trying to make us that flipping burgers or similar entry level jobs are just that. Jobs that you have when you first enter the workforce ... as a young person with little to no debt, experience, skills and/or education. As you age in the workforce so should your skills and experience and the responsibilities you manage thus warranting a higher wage. These type positions in the workforce are not meant to support a family of four ... or even if one for that matter .. who is attempting to be wholly self reliant.
Actually, the minimum wage was originally designed to support a family of 3, at least. So, yes, it absolutely was meant to be enough for the employee, working that job, to live on.

And the right to have a firearm isn't really the big problem, the lack of regulations and gun education is. Swiss men, all considered part of the militia after mandatory arms training, are permitted to keep their service rifles at home. And you can personally own up to fully automatic firearms. The difference is that Switzerland has stronger gun laws, more firearm education and, what I personally think, another attitude about guns.

From what I observe, it seems that the best way for conservatives to rally their base is to find a group/person/cause for them to hate. They single out minority groups, groups that have a harder time of fighting back, and make them the focus of their hate and fear.

Damn, I wrote a whole long comment on this and then the page crashed and I lost it!
I know there are some Christians who believe every thing in the bible literally happened, and came directly from the word of god, but the vast majority don't. The bible was written by many people over a very long time at different points in history. Each book/part was written to make the most sense to the people that it was being written for, much like fables and myths from other places. Storytelling has changed a lot throughout all of human history. Take the book of psalms for example. These are all songs, but not in exactly the same way as we would define songs these days. This is why I don't like the 'reading and understanding the bible makes you an atheist' statement that is so common. Not because I disagree that some people become atheists this way, but because it is equally likely to do the opposite. Many Christians go beyond what they are told in church/their family and study the bible and other theologies, and in fact are encouraged to do so by their church. It can make them...

Load More Replies...I've said it before and I'm going to say it again: Americans aren't inherently "stupid" for using imperial measurements. We measure things differently than 99% of the rest of the world - yes. That doesn't make us stupid or wrong. We learn to use imperial measurements/Fahrenheit/etc. in school - we can't just magically stop using imperial and switch to metric. Our entire country uses imperial and all our measurements are displayed thus. Please, please stop just blanket blindly shítting on Americans for using imperial. Yes, we use imperial. We literally can't help it.
I'm only allowed to upvote you once, but I'm doing my best to counteract the negative voting. As an Englander who grew up in the hazy bit between imperial and metric, I visualise in imperial and understand both.
Load More Replies...There’s one thing I don’t understand, how when Americans are different, we’re stupid, yet one of the many American stereotypes is that we think other countries are stupid for not doing what we do. While this isn’t one, people go out of their ways to make posts showcasing how “weird” America is. If you look on BuzzFeed, there’s probably a dozen of articles that promote this stereotype, and others. Not to mention that most American stereotypes only are true about a small, but loud, part of the American population.
In this one situation it's because the metric system makes more sense. Easier to remember that 1000m makes 1km than it is to remember that 1760 yards make a 1 mile. Kids learning measurement for the first time appreciate a simple formula, just like mathematically disinclined folks like myself do. As for the other stereotypes.... I don't know, too many.

The second part would be "and those who don't". Extrapolating from incomplete data means that from learning one information, you can conclude another, like reading between the lines so to say. So there is one group of people who can do it and conclude that number two must be "people who don't", and another group that can't do it and is left confused. I hope that explained it to you!

Generally expected skill sets always are matched to the specific time and place they are needed. Unfortunately, when it comes to DIY skills, the problem is more that those have not been properly passed on - by the exact generation that now complains about the new generations not having them. So this is acutally a Baby Boomer teaching fail, not a Milennial burn.

You're Standing Right In Front Of The Best Example In The Whole World That Proves That Walls Don't Work
Beside this, even when this wall was one of the best secured borders in the world, it was meant to keep people IN, not to keep them out.
It worked to keep people in... Until it got destroyed by people of all ages (in- & outside) and some soldiers (actively & inactively). My grandfather had been on duty this day. He told me, that he didn't realised what was happening right away & that the orders he got have been confusing (shoot & don't shoot). So he just fled up on one of the towers, unloaded his weapon - so he wouldn't even be able to shoot anyone - and waited. He has been so happy that so much came to rip down that wall. The small part he took with him got passed down directly to me, laying by his picture.
No it never worked. It was supposed to not only keep us INSIDE of the DDR, but also to turn us into docile little ants who don't ask questions. But through all the years, even up to 1989, we never stopped looking for and finding ways over the wall, personal cost be dammed.

If we didn't have a water bottle in class we would have to ask to get some, but it was almost always allowed straight away, the exception being if someone else was already going for some and the teacher thought you just wanted to meet up with them and muck around. In that case they just waited until the other person came back and then you could go. Same with going to the toilet. These are fundamental human rights and covered under the UN recognition on the rights of the child.

A Reason Why Youtube Ads Are A Problem
So much comes to mind here. Where do I start? Gmom is choking on a fishbone. Let me take time to search up a video, hit play, adjust volume, sit through the ad, then tweet youtube about it. Is gmom dead by now? Dear everyone: Please take first aid classes asap. Even if you never need to use it, it's still vital to know. Take refresher courses every couple years also. Please. Then you wont need to take time searching up how to give cpr to someone on youtube. Or googling it on wiki how to.
I just took my annual first aid refresher and did have to google something after the class because I was sure my previous instructors had said the opposite. Google was divided on what was correct, so I guess I will just do whatever first comes to mind in an actual emergency :)
