Nobody said being vegan is easy; it takes a certain level of self-control and preparation to live up to your ideals. One accusation that is often leveled at vegans is the way veganism converts eulogize about the benefits of their dietary choice, while most of the time scolding others for their 'unorthodox' meat-eating decisions. While it usually comes from the right place, wanting others to feel as good about themselves as the vegans do, it can be a bit grating for meat or dairy eaters who just aren't interested in the whole vegan diet thing.

Surely there's a more natural way to spread the message of vegan food goodness? One that's unpretentious, self-deprecating and easily digested? Why yes, vegan memes of course! We here at Bored Panda have collected the best memes that vegans can seriously relate to, and maybe even pass on a few to their friends who don't get it yet. Scroll down below to check them out for yourself, and don't forget to vote for your favorites!

So it's okay to dreamily whisper to your pork chop: "You complete me..."

From my experience *most* have no patience or tolerance for others....at least in my area. I don't care if people want to be vegan but I do care if they try to shove that down the throat of others.

What I don't get is that people could never survive in the wild on a purely vegetarian (vegan?) diet. There are nutrients you can not get without mean, and fat is very essential. Children need those fats and those nutrients. To deprive them of that would be abuse. So, this diet is a new thing, and is something that not everyone in the world could do. Having said that, I think it's horrific and disgusting the way big-farm animals are treated, and I realize many people in "Western" countries eat way too much red meat for their own good (and just basically don't get enough vegetables, variety, or fiber). But why should we go against our own biology and nutritional needs altogether?

Ah vegans and their selective research. Vegan Search: "MEAT IS BAD" Non Vegan Search: "Is meat bad, and if so, How?", or, Vegan Search: "ANIMAL CRUELTY IN FARMS", Non Vegan Search, "How are [Insert animal/product here] farmed?". Suffice to say, most vegans do incomplete research on their topics, and only muddy up the conversation with uninformed misinformation. Or they spread outright lies because they saw a picture of something they didn't understand, didn't like it, and made s**t up. There are, of course, intelligent vegans out there, I know a couple of these vegans, and they're very nice people. We don't need to talk about food because I know that they're on the level about how they're farmed and have different, and more intelligent, reasons for being vegan.

Where do vegans get their Vitamin B-12 from? Either supplements from animal or microorganism sources or they die. One cannot live a full life span on a 100% vegan diet.

Same place non-vegans get their patience concerning vegans who won't shut up about their diet and guilting us about ours.
