Here in Finland children and teenagers can get a vaccinations even if the parents do not approve them. Same thing is also with the birth control and abortions - an underaged person can get those without the parent knowing about it. That is because some religious parents are a health hazard for the child by not allowing those.

I would be faking mom's signature ASAP. What's she gonna do? Report it and get her teenage son in trouble? Do they actually send teenagers to prison in the U.S. for nonsense like this?

Washington State is in a State of Emergency due to Measles outbreaks. Vaccinate your children & your pets!

Now imagine a 15 year old would face a serious penalty for forging a signature that would enable him or her to escape what essential is parently negligence, if not abuse. Legally this makes sense, morally is it so far out of question...

Pass a law that kids have the right to get vaccinations if their parents refuse. Such a law is needed considering how the anti-vaxxer community is growing.

Here in the pacific northwest, there is a huge measles outbreak. If you are not vaccinated, I urge you to do so. Things like this happen! You could die! Please parents, stop being idiots! Your. Kid. Could. Die. I'm not sure how else to drill it in you guy's thick skull! Get your kids vaccinated!

Unfortunately, that last bit of advice is only correct in some places. I feel my kids are mature enough to go to a general medical appointment without having to be embarrassed by mommy's presence, but facilities here will absolutely not see a minor under 18 without the parent present. That means I can't schedule overlapping appointments for my four kids at the same facility - they have to go one after the other instead. It also means that kids who are abused have no opportunity to say so to their doctor without immediate fear of retribution.

What a world we live in!! If a kid has to break the law and forge a signature to get access to a basic human right. His right to have an extra chance to live... Man, this is one twisted sick world! Anti-vaxxers should be stripped of their right to make medical decisions for anyone else but themselves.

There should be some kind of law where parents should not be making major life decisions for a child, such as vaccines or transitioning them at an early.

You might be able to sue them for child abuse later.

And if you are caught, society as a whole will benefit from the attendant publicity because the attendant publicity which will blow anti-vaxxers out of the water. You almost certainly won’t be punished for trying to protect yourself, especially since it would NOT be a serious crime, as it harmed no one. The media will be all over the story of a minor being prosecuted for protecting himself from adult stupidity, and it’s hard to believe that any judge—should the case actually go to court—doing more than telling you to not do it again.

Hey I learned what it is. There's this thing vaccines can cause that does indeed share its name with autism, because when the term was created, people thought it was the same thing as autism. Basically there's a chance you get it, and it halts your brain from learning? You can't ever become smarter. So if a tiny little baby gets this thing (that is NOT!!! autism) their bodies will grow up, but never their minds!

It sounds like, if you are living appart from your parents, regardless of the duration, you don't require their consent. Ask a sympathetic friend to let you crash on his counch and move out. Consent to vaccinations yourself. Once vaccinated, decide whether or not to return home. Alternatively, start reality therapy on your parents: 1) carry hand sanitiser with you and wear a face mask everywhere. 2) Wear a shirt saying "My parents won't consent to vaccination, but I don't want to die." 3)In public places, carry a protest sign saying "Not vaccinated? Neither am I. Please maintain a minimum distance of 6 yards.* *Also applies to the immunocompromised." 4)Quiz your siblings daily on whether they have been exposed to anyone sick. Issue them their own face masks and hand sanitiser, and teach them how to use them.
