Girl Goes Viral On Twitter For Delivering All The Real Facts About Vaccines And People Can’t Thank Her Enough
There seems to be a bizarre kind of malaise among many people, in Western countries at least, in which people have stopped trusting facts, experts and science and are won over by the politics of emotion instead. In the age of ‘fake news,’ where blatant lies are overlooked and we only want our entrenched bias confirmed for us, preferably in simplistic terms, debates that should’ve been put to bed decades ago are bafflingly enduring. The flat Earth theory is surely, at its heart, merely elaborate and largely harmless trolling. But why are we still debating the merits of vaccinations?
Twitter user tsharp did us all a favor recently by presenting the facts about vaccines in a thouroughly modern way. She began a thread that perfectly illustrated the fallacies of the main anti-vaxxer arguments (mercury, autism etc.) using cartoons and GIFs to keep the easily distracted reader engaged.
While the thread was largely welcomed by people who praised her accurate, easy-to-read and properly cited work, there are of course those people who will never be shifted from their almost religiously unshakable beliefs, and will instead find ways to twist the facts to suit their agenda. Sadly, this kind of behaviour has become acceptable in today’s post-truth world, and it’s something that we as a society need to deal with. Scroll down below to check out tsharp’s enlightening thread for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!

Share on FacebookThank you! My mind cannot comprehend how in this day and age there are people dumb enough not to vaccinate their children. If they want to ruin their own lives that's fine, but when you have a child you have a sacred duty to care for it. This includes vaccinating them and feeding them properly. Vegans and anti- vaccers are committing child abuse.
"If they want to ruin their own lives that's fine, but (...)" Exactly. And not only their children, but a whole population is ar risk. It's like driving a car, with your children in the backseat while intentionally breaking safety laws of the road.
Load More Replies...A friend of mine died because someone didn't vaccinate their kid. She survived cancer but got sick due to compromised immune system.
As an autistic person who is now very immunocompromised, I was autistic when I was born, BEFORE I was vaccinated, but I will be hospitalized or even DIE if I catch the strong flu strains going around these days, let alone any of the things we vaccinate for. If you're more afraid of your child becoming autistic than of them dying- you wish them dead rather than autistic- then you're a freaking eugenicist and should not have children in case they turn out to be something you don't like.
It would be a lot easier, if you're only allowed to breed, if you give a written aproval to vaccination for children.... Or is it a little harsh?
I also think that people wanting a kid should first follow a course to learn to take care of the kid properly, this would be a valuable addition to that.

Sadly reason is the only thing most of them are immune to...
Load More Replies...Crazy how little regard for public health and safety these anti-vaxxers have. I used to think of them as being in the same category as flat earthers but not now.... anti-vaxxers put other people's children at risk because of their ignorance.... taking stupidity to a whole different level
Typhoid Mary was incarcerated for life in New York , Riverside Island - over 30 years, because she was contagious
Load More Replies...they think their kids are too special to be immunised like the rest of the herd - keep your own children well away from them
Load More Replies...This thread was absolutely brilliant, the description of this article was also spot on. We need to do something to combat the use of reactionary and emotional responses to rational debate. The use of facts and scientific evidence are under attack by some weird form of fashionable madness
In Russia you have to vaccinate your child in order for them to attend public kindegartens, schools, swimming pools and etc. But some dumbass parents manage to get fake papers, where it says, that their kids where vaccinated, when in reality they were not, and still send them to kindergarten and school! That always pisses me off, when I see such parent, who even dare to brag about "breaking the system". Because of such "caring" parents we now often have outbreaks of certain diseases.
It's the same in California, you have to show proof that your child has had certain vaccines in order to attend public schools. There used to be an exemption for religious or other reasons, but after some serious Whooping Cough and Measles outbreaks they no longer allow any exemption other than medical.
Load More Replies...even the Autism Issue - Kids cant get an official diagnosis of Autism until they are a certain age - by which time they will have had multiple shots. If your child unfortunately is diagnosed with Autism a few weeks after having immunisations - dont blame the vaccines - that whole theory has been discredited
Autism is not a mental disability. It's a different way of processing information and functioning Sincerely, An autistic person
Quarentine the parents that choose for their kids not to be vaccinated and their kids and expose them to the disease. Show the parents what’s going on.
They've already identified one of the genes that causes autism. It is a genetic mutation of the brain, not something that can be acquired by a vaccination. It's so accurate that Canada has started using it to "predict" that a newborn will be autistic. They've been right every time.... Less priveliged people know the value of immunisation - I have heard my mum's description of her baby sister struggling and giving up to whooping cough. I know I nearly died of measles in 1966. Seems like rich, eccentric people think baby fruit or compass direction are too special to be immunised like the rest of the herd. I do hope it doesnt come back to bite them
Since vaccines are completely safe and effective, can we please work together to tell Congress to repeal the NCVIA of 1986? It sure seems like an unnecessary law that should no longer be in existence. And let's do away with VAERS and the NVICP as well. Thoughts?
As a kid born in the 70's I've had all the vaccines that were required/necessary and I will have to say that having those vaccines did keep my healthy except it does nothing for chicken pox what so ever since I managed to catch that as a kid!
the chicken pox vaccine did not come out until 1995. So you missed it no matter what. Besides everyone ( and mine) of your generation got it and survived
Load More Replies...To antivaxxers, I ask...you know you're a good driver, you've never had an accident but you still wear your seatbelt and put your children in their car seats because anything could happen and you want to be safe. You trust yourself, but it's others that could kill you. So why are you driving erratic, putting not only yourself and your children at risk, but strangers? I have about 12 diseases from a compromised immune system. I've had colds that have lasted months, not days. I take as many precautions as I can with my health but I can't live in a bubble for the rest of my life. I'm reliant on everyone else in this world keeping healthy. It's that reason that I'm a big supporter of universal healthcare, I want to see everyone with a job have paid sick leave, even if you're a fast food worker. Because when your sick, you give to a new person who gives it to another person and then it could get to me. And I really really don't want to die because of your ignorance.
Oh I forgot comments don't allow for paragraphs... so one long comment lol
Load More Replies...I noticed that you have polio listed in your intro. Is polio vaccine still available? I thought it was considered so insignificant as a threat that they no longer make the vaccine.
If you don't vaccinate your children, you're a damn moron. Keep them the hell away from mine!
Awesome.. and the same dipshitz that are against vaccinations will scream about science and global warming but yet they don't believe about science and vaccinations
Ummm... do you know the ethics around human or infant research? Look it up... you cannot do it... it is (partly) why I'm an antivaxxer... that and the millions of deaths caused by vaccinating... OH... and the years of research I have done in undergrad and graduate school, BUT... I'm sure this high schooler lacking a fully developed brain has the critical thinking abilities that those of us with an advanced degree... sure.. that makes sense... actually it doesn't but I"m sure you will find a way to support it over those of us who do true, independent research at the very minimal (and not accurate level, due to the ethics committee) that we are allowed... smh... why the U.S. needs better education and will continue going downhill...
Load More Replies...It seams like their mindset is: "one time I got the sniffles from a vaccine so that means their bad" without doing actual research and making dumb claims. This kind of reminded me of flat-earthers. Some just shut out and ignore scientifically proven claims and just "debunk" them by saying that the government is lying. It's like they want to feel important by making themselves believe that they know something that no one else knows
One vaccine I had - aged 4 or so -- cant recall what it was - I collapsed in pain from my leg that night (it was a jab in the thigh) - couldnt walk till the following day. it was minor. Am not going to catch whatever it was that could have killed me.My parents, who both grew up in an era without vaccinations, or even antibiotics, were grateful for anything that would help me survive my childhood back then
Load More Replies...This was written pre-pandemic too! Unfortunately it’s needed now more than ever! We were warned of a measles case before March break. My co-worker can’t get vaccinated, she’s had serious adverse reactions in the past, so herd immunity is necessary!
An excellent explanation, thank you. There is one point I would like to stress though, if a disease has been eradicated then it can not re-occur, think about it!
Me, with autism, getting vaccines: UPGRADES! UPGRADES! UPGRADES!
This is amazing! My aunt had polio when she was a child because my grandparents couldn’t afford the vaccine. She started her life in Mexico and came to the US when she was 9. I always think of her when people rage on about vaccines.
Us antivaxxers have done our research as well... using, you know, such reputable resources as Pubmed and ridiculous things like this that, those of us with an advanced degree are required to use to have an advanced degree...but, definitely, this high-schooler probably has better critical thinking skills than those in the health field with advanced degrees who do not support vaccines. I ask that people quit following their agenda and get real. The bottom line is that true research CANNOT be done due to the ethics we have in place to prevent it... the only 'research' we have is based on what's come to be versus anything based on actual unbiased data... bottom line is that I do my best not to crucify parents who are indoctrinated into beliefs about using vaccines and I don't crucify parents who have done their research and have realized there is no way to support vaccinations... we have become a country of sheep... I am an independent who leans strongly Democrat and an antivaxxer!
EXCELLENT. Anti VAXERs are unimforme IMBECILES and a dange to Society at large.
Well articulated and researched series of posts. Bravo young lady for presenting the facts in an easy to understand and confirm manner, maybe just maybe one or more of those people risking the lives of others to "protect" their precious little irritant will learn something and do some research for themselves....
What do I think? Two things? One, that I'm too old, because I made sure my three sons, all middle-aged men, had childhood inocculations. And none of this was a revelation. And two, for those younger than me (nearly all of you) who did NOT know it, and esp. those with little ones, why didn't YOU investigate all this rather than sit on your rears and MARVEL what this younger-than-you student share?. In this day and age of electronics, you wouldn't even have had to go the library. And this is YOUR CHILD you're concerned about!!??? Shame on you!!
Wow, how nice to finally hear the FACTS from somebody who KNOWS, right? Because everything you learn in SCHOOL is RIGHT isn't it!!?? Oh, how I can't stand self-righteous people! "Permit me to set you on the right path misinformed individual. I can see how tormented you are, so please let me tell you how things are. You are very lucky to have me tell you, you know!" Aaarggghhhh!!!!!! Come back when you have had some serious diseases yourself and your doctor has said that "there is no cure", but you don't give up and go out there and find the f***ing cure yourself! Come back and tell us how "it is" then baby! THEN I might listen to you...

If a mother does not believe in the vaccine, and her child becomes ill, and dies, who would she blame ?
Who do think should get blamed? Mom should be blamed .
Load More Replies...This entire conversation is the reason my husband and I quit the fertility train. After 9 miscarriages, we have enough pain w/o being persecuted for wanting to protect a baby. It's such a political move to have a child now. We both believe in vaccination - not 8 shots at a time, but with measured medical observance. I have some loud family members who believe otherwise. I'm a "moron", a "sheep" and a "gambling monster". They say you can only get Chicken Pox once. Nope. I had it twice. 1st time only hands and face. The 2nd time it covered my entire 5 YO body. Guess who who was vaccinated after that?
Brilliant, I think more people need to be cognisant of the facts, not fiction!
Good way to convince people! I feel the need to do the same job as the husband of a doctor, as it is very important to keep the worldwide vaccination programm running, not to repeat old horror scenarios. The new 'dead' polio vaccination can eliminate polio forever, like already happened with the smallpox in 1980. This means vaccination will not be necessary anymore afterwards! I like the way Tsharp educated her followers. One argument I would formulate different: in my opinion it is not convincing enough just to say: you can't cause autisme, you've been borned with it. I rather would point out the 2014 research (1.2 million children) in which children with and without a vaccination were compared to e.o.
AND... how about the millions that are dead due to being vaccinated? Only presenting one side like the high schooler who lacks a fully developed brain? Why do those who want to follow an agenda or those who lack critical thinking skills like this? I understand why the high school student is so one-sided and narrow minded, but those over the age of 30 should have more development... I suppose this is why my focus should be on pushing a real education in this Country... smh.
Load More Replies...Good job! As the husband of a doctor I have had the same discussions and arguments in several forums. I think the answer TSHARP gave about autisme would have been more convincing for her 'public' if she had pointed out the research of 2014 (MEDLINE, PubMed, EMBASE, Google Scholar up to April, 2014) in were 1.2 million children has been controlled if there is a link between autisme and vaccinations. There are as many children suffering autisme with or without vaccination. I think the argument : you can't cause autisme, you've been born with it is not strong enough. Further all respect!
Great job summarizing everything. Always great to see when people fight ignorance. It is kind of shocking that even pet boarding places do not take in do dogs or cats with out vaccinations, but there is now law that says you can not send kids to school with out vaccinations. I don't see why there shouldn't be a law that says every kid that can get vaccinated should get vaccinated.
LOL... one sided pieces written by someone who doesn't have a fully developed brain is following ignorance...

We don't know for sure that autism is just something people are born with. We do know it's not caused by vaccines. But there are other chemicals that some studies have correlated to disorders like ADHD and other behavior and developmental disorders. BPA and some pesticides are KNOWN to be harmful to developing fetuses, babies, and children. Why don't the anti-vaccine people squawk about these things that are known to be harmful (some of which are banned in other countries, but the EPA under Pruitt refused to ban because some rich people need to get richer at our children's expense)?
We "squawk" about both. Most people who vaccinate their kids also use pesticides, don’t think flouride or nutrisweet is a problem, etc.

The anti vaccine crowd has also created the perfect smoke screen for Monsanto. Glyphosate (main ingredient in Roundup) usage in the US: 1992 - about 15 million pounds + 1995 - US Autism average was 1 in 1000 children 2013 - about 300 million pounds + 2014 - US Autism average was 1 in 68 children This information is everywhere, it's not theory, it's statistics. Could be coincidental, but as long as corporations are allowed to dictate what studies can be done on their products we will never know.
That also causes autism. Don’t blame "anti-vaxxers" for monsanto, when pretty much all of us are anti-gmo/pesticide as well

I wonder what the antivaccers say where their research comes from! Did a single one of them check the history of how many kids died from these childhood illnesses? I doubt it. And the flu that killed millions when it came out. If there had been a vaccination, many would have lived! Also, I am old enough to know that my first smallpox vaccine, was with live virus that gave you a single pox, and you waited for the scab to fall off and it left the scar. People that don’t vaccinate their kids, should be prosecuted if their unvaccinated kid kills some one by passing along a very preventable childhood illness!
You should research how many deaths and injuries have occurred due to vaccinations as well... let's not be sheep! I'm unvaccinated and once I got my advanced degree and got educated instead of feeding into this sort of hype and lack of critical thinking I quit vaccinating my kids.... just wish it had been sooner...
Load More Replies...I can't love this enough. Thank you to this woman for speaking the truth.
I used to be a legal assistant and wrote a damn good hypothetical legal argument once about how the parents of a child who isn't immunized but could be and gets another child who is immunocompromised deathly ill or the illness kills the child, the parents should be charged with murder, or at the very least, pled down to manslaughter, since they knew the dangers the were imposing on the public by refusing to vaccinate their own healthy child...it's the same as sending your child to school with a gun. There is no need for a child with a gun in a public school. There is no place for an unvaccinated child in a public school. Both are huge safety hazards that could cause unnecessary death.
Since you work in law I actually have a legal question, what are your thoughts on eliminating the NCIVP of 1986? As well, what if we eliminated VAERS and the NVICP as well? If vaccines are completely safe and effective and if they are not the cause of any injuries to children today, shouldn't we remove the immunity from vaccine manufacturers? I mean, if we are going to start prosecuting parents, then I believe we should level the playing field correct? Thoughts?

This is the best thing ever!! She is 100% correct about autism. My 30 yr old sister has a form of autism where she will never mentally develop past the age of 8-10 yrs old. She was vaccinated and my mom always thought it happened because of the vaccines. Flash forward to my aunt (father's sister) had a child with the same autism symptoms...it's definitely genetics....not derived from vaccines. Please vaccinate your children.
Ah yes, those diseases are still present in my country. In fact from time to time we have outbreaks.
Is there a law penalizing the guardians of the children for not getting them vaccinated? If none then there should be!
My last comment - owners of pedigree dogs are expected to be 100% up to date with their vaccinations - otherwise they cant be classed as healthy and disease free- Its a regulation for pedigree dogs - do the same for children
Owners of any dogs should keep up their inoculations, not just pedigree dogs
Load More Replies...It’s just sad when people don’t vaccinate their kids. Nothing happens to them except they fight diseases. Like duh. It’s sad when one kid gets another kid sick and causes death. I had a friend who’s child died because another one of her friends didn’t vaccinate her kids. Lets just say we keep our distance from her now.
It's amazing how a group would take the word of a uninformed Hollywood b-lister over all the countless research of actual scientists. The flawed study has been fully debunked and his credibility nuked from orbit. Yet with all the easily sourced information on the internet about it, there are still those selfish fools that continue to think vaccines are bad.
the scariest thing - on here a few months ago - involved a medical professional mum instructing her medical professional daughter how to get out of having legally required vaccinations for the job - apparently you make the appointment - turn up - sign in - then sod off - they technichally think you had the jab - think you are immune
How nice of you to enlighten us with your vast wisdom acquired with your high school diploma. Was it Mark Twain who once said: "If you want to know something, ask a teenager. But better do it quickly while they still know everything."
The scientists who did the research aren't teenagers. She isn't the source of the information, she is only disseminating what is genuine, properly researched scientific fact.
Load More Replies...but Jenny McCarthy said it causes autism and the doctor she googled said so too so it must be true!
We cannot allow the childhood diseases that killed and maimed so many to to come back - because they are still there and they will come back given an opportunity- they didnt go away just because public health pretty much got rid of them through vaccinations - they are still there waiting in unvaccinated areas
One thing I have noticed on BP is the tendency to attempt to belittle and shame people rather than use understanding and compassion to win them to their point of view. I've seen it in a post of Disney characters portrayed as plus sized and I see it here. Ol'Gerda, who posted this article, compares anti-vax people to flat Earthers and suggests they are anti-facts, science, and experts. You don't win people to your point of view by belittling them. Also, the tweets were not that impressive. It was merely regurgitating info from sites that support her viewpoint. I'm doubting she researched any opposing information. BTW, before it even starts, I'm pro-vax. I just think things like this need to be handled with compassion and understanding rather than bullying.
I completely agree that belittling people only angers them and then they aren't open to debate. It doesn't help. People end up responding to the insult rather than to the information. However, we don't know that she had a position on vaccinations before she started reading the research. So is it fair to say that this was just to support her viewpoint? Plus the whole point of her tweets is that she is regurgitating information. Information that is from genuine scientifically-based research. There isn't any genuine scientifically-based research that supports the anti-vax arguments.
Load More Replies...I think she's right. It's not just childhood diseases either. My second great grandmother died of diphtheria in England before vaccinations.
The only thing is I wish she would not have said "choosing not to vaccinate kids *could* have the potential to be more dangerous than just receiving the vaccine in the first place". Kind of watered down her strong arguments and gave anti-vaxxers a foothold to argue :/
you shouldnt be able to "choose" not to vaccinate your children
Load More Replies...It's not that they are dumb. Not anymore than someone who believes in... you know what, I am just gonna skip this comment. Anyway, People tend to group together for protection. It's a shortcut that has served us well in the past. Unfortunately now that there is a group of people to support each other, it will be a lot harder to fix this. Knowledge and Facts will in the end prevail. Well at least I hope they do. No strike that. I have faith in my fellow Humans, we do some really stupid things sometimes, but so far we have made it work in the end. But damn we do a lot of stupid s**t. Why can't we stop doing them once we realize they are dumb. Oh well. Here is to world peace and all that other stuff we should have accomplished by now.
I am deeply saddened to see this kind or articles. I used to like this website but this just makes my heart break. I wish people would stop associating having a degree in something with knowing better than others. Please use your heart and instinct regarding such matters. There is a reason some people have stopped trusting the "experts" and are doing their own research that is not backed up by the multi billion vaccine market. Perhaps you should practice being more open minded, especially the people who their work can influence others.
Would you trust a celebrity or a random person off the internet with a ton of followers and testimonials from previous passengers, with zero education in aeronautical engineering, to design and build the plane you will fly in? Would you trust them if they told you that the airplane industry is just scamming us, and they may not have any conventional experience but they're really avid bird watchers so they believe that they can actually build a faster and more efficient planes based on "natural methods of building"? OK, let's switch it back to medicine... Are you seriously not going to trust the expertise of a medical doctor? What makes you think you, or anyone else out there has more authority on diseases of the human body than someone who has spent decades in school training to become a physician? If you disagree with a doctor or are not sure, then you should certainly seek out a second opinion, but that second opinion should come from another doctor... Not some random website.
Load More Replies...I am old enough to have had all my vaccines PLUS recalls. Because Tetanus vaccines need to be renewed about every five or ten years, and since I tend to fall and scrape my knees, which causes them too bleed, I need to make sure my tetanus shot record is up to date. When did you have your last Tetanus shot. Did you know that disease was also known as Lockjaw? That means if you get it, your jaw gets sut tight and you can neither drink nor eat anything until you die.
The Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS), starting in 1988, was supposed to report every two years to the Congress, on ongoing efforts to improve vaccine safety. NO REPORTS WERE EVER MADE. So…why didn’t they follow the law? maybe because they would have to admit there is a problem with some of them???
Thank you for this. As one who almost died as a child in the 50’s from measles, and whose aunt had TB and friend had polio, I take vaccines very seriously. That being said, although all my children were vaccinated, my middle child had only the Diptheria and Tetanus after a virulent reaction to the Pertussis portion of the vaccine, back in the late 70’s. He was the only one who reacted, so I made the choice, with the support of my pediatrician, to forgo it. A reasonable decision is one thing, but hysteric refusal to vaccinate is just dangerous, as is the entire anti-science movement.
They don't use live virus any more - and vaccinations are radically different than they were in the '70s. Anecdotes are not data.
Load More Replies...While I totally agree with vaccinations and much of what you've discovered in your "senior paper," be careful how you present your argument related to autism. Per the NIH (National institute of Health), the cause(s) of autism is not known; scientists are studying some of the following as possible causes of or contributors to ASD, which are Genes/genetics, interactions between Genes and the Environment, and Other Biological Causes.
Excellent material. Only one small addition would make those quotations perfect: cited referens to the sources to help bash the anti-vaccer loonies pathetic counter arguments with hard data.
I think she did. It's kind of small and I can't really see it that well on my tablet, though.

Folks: This is a high school project. It has serious limitations. Without footnotes, a standardized system of reporting, or a readable list of works cited, the reader is left to "guess" whether or not Taylor came to a defensible conclusion. In short, the report is not ready for prime time. Taylor: it's obvious you are intrigued by science and you have the raw materials necessary to become a fine researcher. Pick a good school, study hard and soak up everything they have to teach you. Minimum school required for medical research is a Masters. Go for it.
Just curious as to why there is no mention of the children and even adults who have suffered adverse reactions to a vaccine or the fact that there was a very recent lawsuit that proved that there have been zero safety and efficacy tests on vaccines in thirty two years despite those tests being part of the requirement for the manufacturers to be immune to legal liability? A rational argument/debate is going to consider all the facts not just a few "chosen" facts or theories and will also acknowledge that no medical intervention is a one size fits all solution. Why not throw all the known facts and concerns out there and have a civil debate ?
i would have preferred if your facts were based on truth, but we take whatever s**t we are forced to, don't we? Whooping cough. The shot has NO pertussis DNA in there so NOBODY can prevent whooping cough. Ever. It has a toxoid that reduces the worst side effects of whooping cough but ONLY works if you get whooping cough. Again - it CANNOT PREVENT anyone from getting whooping couch. Measles - outbreaks don't come from unvaccinated - in fact reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction tests prove that the MEASLES VACCINE HAS CAUSED OUTBREAKS because the virus incubates in the vaccinated and then sheds all over the everyone. MOST people in measles outbreaks ARE VACCINATED - so this proves beyond doubt the ineffectiveness of vaccination. Vaccines provide NO immunity - EVER. At best a 2-10 yr "protection" if you aren't one of the 6-10% who don't make antibodies. (which is flawed in itself in terms of theory - vaccines do not protect because of antigen response, i can prove it.) There is
No immunity and no herd immunity from shots - ever. In China provinces with 99% compliance had 707 outbreaks in one year. In S Korea they increased chicken pox vax rates in stages. EVERY time they increased vaccination the disease occurrence and outbreaks increased MORE. Now they have 97% youth compliance, 95% societal - and their 2015 chicken pox rates are triple what they were in 2005 when they started "fixing" the problem. Derp - no herd immunity. Immune compromised people are actually threatened more by people with live and attenuated virus shots because these incubate and shed. Proven. Physicians for Informed Consent show how someone else's getting vaccinated does NOT protect the immune compromised. Read their info on their fb page. THESE people are trained medical professionals that support your right to choose for many good reasons. Neonatal Intensive Care units have low weight premature babies in there. Most kids (unfortunately) get shots at 2 months - which is 11 mos. after
Load More Replies...Lovely report. Every single "fact" delivered came directly from the "official" sources, the CDC, etc. Every one of these "reports" was conceived, researched and notated by the corporations that manufacture the vaccines. No report on vaccines can ever contain any sort of truth if it does not take into account independent research studies. This girl seems to have ignored those. All the vaccines that appear to have eradicated certain diseases were introduced near the very end of the natural outbreak, when the natural course of the disease was already dying down. Thus it was made to appear as though the vaccine had done the work, when the only work it did was make a lot of kids sick, and make a lot of money for the pharmaceutical corporations.
This is a great post, but are we 100% sure it's all from refusal of vaccinations? Healthcare costs have spiraled out of control leaving a lot of us uncovered by health insurance. I'd love to see a list of how many of those 47k people had insurance or access to medical benefits. I know a lot people create these false narratives about vaccines, but surely some people that fall under that number are uninsured.
your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter. also, this seems pretty conclusive so surely it should stop any further discussions yes? I mean, these are ALLLLL the facts. Facts win.
If anti vaxxers truly believe then when they get sick or injured they should seek out a witch doctor. And maybe scrounge around for some leeches.
'Question authority', research BOTH sides of the vaccine issue and apply logic and common sense. Only then should YOU decide whether to inject your beloved child with any substance that millions of parents firmly assert maimed or killed their children. And why is there a billion dollar vaccine damage compensation program if there's little to no risk? One child harmed is too many when it's your child. Do you expect vaccine manufacturers, doctors or the government that requires vaccines for school, etc to admit their harm? Imagine if they did - all hell would break loose. And who owns Bored Panda btw? They sure do push the vaccine agenda and some other red flag issues.
More children will die without vaccinations if this trend continues than those who might be hurt by them. Play the odds--vaccinate! If you don't want to vaccinate move to your own little cabin in the woods and stay away from everybody else.

Also, best not to start reading an article "prepared" for it to be a certain way when reading it on Bored Panda! You must know the type of headlines they write. Click-bait. Read something first then form a view and you won't be disappointed. If you dislike swearing and believe click-baiting headlines on BP maybe BP isn't quite your type of thing . Regardless of all that most people in the world aren't going by an american based organisation's research. Plenty of research elsewhere that supports her comments and no genuine research that doesn't. We DO KNOW that the previously-criticised MMR vaccine does not cause autism based on european research. The doctor in the UK who came up with that rubbish has been discredited and struck off.

Vegans and anti- vaccers are committing child abuse.
"If they want to ruin their own lives that's fine, but (...)" Exactly. And not only their children, but a whole population is ar risk. It's like driving a car, with your children in the backseat while intentionally breaking safety laws of the road.

I suppose this is why my focus should be on pushing a real education in this Country... smh.

Most kids (unfortunately) get shots at 2 months - which is 11 mos. after

I bet you didn't read you vehicle manual back to front and all the Chilton's guides either but you still drive. I for one do trust the CDC and the FDA. The research is outstanding.
Load More Replies..."My decision shouldn't make me an outcast in the society." This is where you are wrong. If you want to be a part of the society, you have to take responsibility for it. Freeriders can ruin a society if there is too many of them. Therefore a society must defend itself by casting them out. "You vaccinated - you're safe." - nope. It does not work like that. Google: herd immunity. Educate yourself. That is your responsibility too.
