“The Uncomfortable” is a collection of deliberately inconvenient everyday objects by Athens-based architect Katerina Kamprani.
While most of product designers are often trying to make objects as useful as possible, Kamprani here does the exact opposite trying to discover the best way to annoy everyone with her creations.

Load More Replies...we already have enough useless junk destroying our environment. s**t like this doesn't help.
The sad part is I totally want to buy a few of these as gag gifts.........
Number 25 could actually be quite useful if you have to sweep or dust areas you can reach from the side but maybe not be able to reach with a normal broom or mop. Additionally, I actually think that #15 could be useful for potential spill resistance.
This is the perfect post for someone with OCD. I bet my husband would be cringing. I found it kind of artistic
Dear creator: please make a 4 piece dinner place setting. I imagine a glass with the rim bent and folded inwards. A plate made of wire screen. A bowl filled with prongs or spikes so a spoon can't get to the food. Oooooo, so many ideas, but no clue how to create them.
The uncomfortable broom would actually be good for taking down spider webs from walls. And those wine and champagne glasses are just a nice challenge :D
#4 would actually work for eating soup out of, provided you used a spoon.
#24, the uncomfortable broom, is actually brilliant. think about sweeping under a book case or tv stand!
I want the double champagne glass and the mug with the sideways handle. I would use both often.
Am I the only one that would actually find 'Uncomfortable Chair #3' fun and fine to sit in?
These have really satisfying designs... :o And the person who does this has a great sense of humor.
For some reason this type of art speaks to me, it's one those pieces that makes you think outside the box and question every day objects.
Because. And it's not like they're real products. They seem to all be 3D modeled/rendered objects (CGI).
