Lost Your Dog?
my nana had a dog when my mom was in college. usually they had to lock him inside the house or hold him every morning when mom went to college or else he'd follow her. one day my nana forgot to lock him and my mom started for college and unbeknownst to her the dog followed her. her college was 11 miles from their home and my mom took two buses in between. 10 mins after her first class had started, the dog burst into the room and ran towards my mom all happy and wagging it's tail. mom was hysterical and embarresed as heck. it was just the second week of college. professor didn't mind the dog sitting in the hall and he sat through whole lecture.
Leave used cat litter box and bedding outside cats prefer their own smell them being more important than their staff and all, I mean owners. Lol cat person here :)

If youre dog is lost, NOT STOLEN, but lost, leave an article of previously worn, unwashed clothing at the last place where you saw your dog. Come back the next morning, and most likely, your dog will be there. Seeing as dogs are smarter than we are, the dog will recognize your scent, and most likely thats where the dog will be.
Bless you for this valuable information. Pet owners who have lost a pet will be more than happy to try this.
It is nothing for dogs who typically get to roam out in the woods to not return from their adventures for an entire day. Especially those that are highly prey driven. Unfortunately I can't see this working in an urban or suburban area as too many people are likely to interfere with the dog returning (in a good or bad way). When I was young and lived out in the woods my dog Lucky always figured out where I was when I was out exploring. When I went home I never worried about him. He always showed back up when he got bored, tired or hungry.
I always accustomed my animals to a sound, a ring with several keys, and when an animal did not come home I waited in the evening because it was quieter and I went out stirring the keys and a few minutes later... Meow meow
Good advice. We live in a rainforest. Recently our 15 year old beagle Yumin disappeared. Fortunately, he's very experienced, has never been tied, but we were really relieved when he came back after a couple days.
Actually the best thing to do when a dog runs off in a forest is sit and wait for him to come back. It might take a couple of hours, but he WILL return to the last place he saw you
Yes the litter box trick works great! Apparently they can smell their own box up to two miles away!
Load More Replies...It’s a very good advice. Better advice may have been to Keep Them On The Harness. Their safety first than the dog roaming free having fun exploring. We’d all like to think that they’ll not go too far away from us. However, many dogs follow their noses rather than their brain. The new scents are more exciting, and enticing, so they are only focused on that and before you and they know it, they’ve gone too far into the woods and lost. Keep them safe, and please harness them on a long lead so they may explore within control, and not get lost. My heart will ache so much if that had happened to me, I’ll need to stay there all night long in wait. 12 Days! My god, I can just imagine what that’d felt like. I’m very happy for you to have found your baby. The advice was a sound one, and your baby was smart enough to remain with your shirt. 🍃👍😊❤️🍃
most working dogs don't work on a harness, including any dog that's meant to be useful on a hunt. Most shepherding dogs tended to work several miles away from their masters. assuming you don't treat your dog poorly, they'll come back if they can.

The one about Washington's distracted driving law is unnecessary. The law only has to do with electronic devices, food and drinks are not included.

This list is almost entirely ridiculous, unnecessary or dangerous. No thanks.
isn't a life hack suppose to mean things that will help you in life? what's the point of wasting all your energy making something and using it for one thing? why don't you just go to the shops and get the thing you want instead of making it yourself. you are not being lazy in that way.
Hotel room card needed for power: using something else works in *most* hotels I know but fails in two: the Leopold, Sheffield, and Holiday Inn, Cannock. It has to be a genuine room card there.

12. So your personal hero is a kid wasting energy instead of using his feet. 20. Iphones generate microwaves. In France, children are banned from owning cellphones because of the danger to their more sensitive bodies; growing youngsters have rapid cell division that can be vulnerable to radiation. Some of these are clever, some stupid, some just plain dangerous.
Whoa, hold the drama! This is clearly just for fun...
