Right?! I wish there was a citizen barter system. I'd HAPPILY trade.
Load More Replies...So not general knowledge for most americans as our gen knowledge basically stops around 3rd grade level IF THAT! And it's only going to get worse here real quick thanks to the orange turd. It's thoroughly depressing for those of us that aren't f*****g idiots!
Load More Replies...I'm a US citizen, and honestly, I can't blame you.
Load More Replies...27/30, and I'm French. I just wonder how many of these will still be true, or be meaningful, 4 years from now.
30/30 Amazing! Every single question—correct. If this was the actual test, you’d be walking out with citizenship papers in hand. Go ahead, give yourself a high five—you’ve earned it! Thanks, but I don't wanna be a US citizen. The test is very easy even for a non-American. It's a mixture of general knowledge, easy to deduce, or the same as in my country. Just pointing out that for question 25 the answer should be 'oligarchy', and you don't even have that as an option! So fix it.
Who the hell would want to be a US citizen?! And even if it was a country you would want to be affiliated to, Bored Panda please turn the tide of your Americanisation. Get some balance. There are, truly, so many other countries out there.
BP was literally designed to be oriented to the US. It's their business model.

Woohoo, I got citizenship! …wait, can I say no and just be an Australian citizen? Don't get me wrong, you guys make the best steaks I've ever had in my life and everyone I met when I visited the country was absolutely lovely but the idea of becoming an American right now or even coming back as a visitor is f*****g terrifying.
He would choose some other answer, then state that he is correct, and it is the truth. Like saying Ukraine started the war - which disgusts me more than even many of the other criminal, anti-democratic, and disgusting stuff he's done and said. It's up there with wanting to steal Palestinian land and make it a resort. If someone states the real truth, he'll say it's fake news. Soon, he'll start jailing anyone who disagrees with him.
Load More Replies...When it asks what did the U.S. buy from France in 1803, it shows the state of Louisiana. This is not correct. The Louisiana Purchase did not include much of the state of Louisiana, but DID include much of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Montana, Colorado, Wyoming and even parts of New Mexico and Texas. It even included parts of Canada, but they were ceded to the British when the US-Canada border was straightened out. It did not, however, include SW Louisiana; the ownership of that was straightened out in an agreement with Spain in 1819.
But have you tried the UK citizenship test? I failed it miserably. Lucky for me I was born here.
Load More Replies...Geeze, BP, you do realize there are other countries besides the USA, yes? I'd like to see their laws too!
These may be some of the questions, but many are significantly more difficult. The actual test is still a joke though - there's a pool of 100 possible questions, but you're only asked 10, and only need to answer 6 correctly... 60% is a fail anywhere I've ever studied - why even admin the test? So many risk their lives and/or spend so much time and money to come to the US, you'd think they'd ace the heck out of any test!
the funniest thing is that a not insignificant number of US born citizens can't pass this test.
Because the schools stop covering US history around the 4th grade and only require it late, in your senior year.
Load More Replies...24 which to me is impressive considering how much I don't know about the US.
I'm an Australian. I got 3 wrong. The Senate terms, Constitution date and author The rest are general knowledge and sometimes a bit of logic/commonsense. But, nah, I'd prefer Canada, UK, NZ or France, thanks!!
Scored 28/30 but should have been 29 because I miss-clicked one question. The one I got wrong is borderline if it should count as wrong because I misread the question… and knew the answer. However, it’s a wrong answer because I misread it lol and that in of itself is a wrong answer lol.
Non-demanding a bit. I've passed withiut any trouble even if I am from Europe and have just a basic knowledge.
Not too demanding, even for somebody from Europe. I'd pass the test, anyway.
I firmly believe that a person must pass the citizenship test before they can be allowed to vote.
Aztecs are Native Americans. See, stay in school !! How else will you be able to pass BP quizzes?
28/30 the stupid rivers question got me. The other time I was just being dumb.
26/30 and I'm British , does this mean I can vote in their next election ... In about a milenia
If you don't want to be a US citizen, by all means, please leave. We have enough trouble with people literally dying to become citizens.
Ah if it was only that easy I'm pretty sure a good 50% plus happily would!
Load More Replies...Oh please. All this puffed up patriotism makes you all look like idiots. Our country is in trouble. The president is bypassing checks and balances, which has never been done before on this scale in this country. You're a fool if you aren't concerned. If you want a dictator, then maybe *you* should move. I hear Russia is nice this time of year.
Load More Replies...No, you can enter on a tourist visa or a green card working visa or a refugee visa, permanent or temporary, you do not have to pass a citizenship test or be a citizen to live and work in the USA and a citizenship test is not applied to all entrants for a pass or fail before they are allowed in or deemed legal.
