Growing up in Alaska was the most wonderful experience for me. The countryside was fantastic, and so easy to get away from everything. One of the first books I remember reading for school was "Daniel Boon - Master of the Wilderness". I fell in love with his story and nature. He's always been my Hero. And to this day, I just cannot imagine myself having to live my life, cooped up like those living in places like Tokyo, New Yawk, or Hong Kong. :D
Being boxed in by tall buildings is torture for me, I grew up in the wide open spaces of the great plains. I get antsy when I can't see the horizon!
Load More Replies...I love how in Tokyo there is the beautiful juxtaposition between traditional and modernism. Japan has progressed yet its elegant culture is still intact.
