Many times my love for my kitty soulmate, Milo, was the only thing keeping me alive. I miss him. (Don’t worry, I’m married to a wonderful woman now, so I’m not going to off myself even though my kitty is gone.)

Many people have been in your shoes, I have been there myself. A mechanical malfunction (throttle sensor went out) saved me. Problems might seem insurmountable, but it does get better. Pets help, my pet rats helped me. Hang in there and remember people do care, even if it's strangers on the internet. Gaia bless you.

I was in therapy dealing with a lot of anxiety, depression, and loneliness. My therapist suggested I get a dog. Four years later and now I have 2!

Adopting another living being is so helpful when you are down. I have 3 cats and they keep me going no matter what.
