I've always enjoyed using my camera to capture little snippets of life that usually unravel without anybody noticing them.
Recently, I figured I could very well share those tiny stories in the same manner that journalists tell the stories that make up the news.
In my opinion, these are news. News of everyday life, the one that matters the most, because we all have to go through it, well, everyday. And they are the building blocks that make a life happy, sad or oftentimes, both.
All these moments were captured in Montreal, Canada (except for a couple that I shot in and around Québec city).

More and more I really do hate cell phones, I know, I may be in the minority here but every single picture I see with people tuned out to the world and into their phones is just sad to me. You watch any live stream , earthcam , etc and this is all you see. I guess, since I don't own a smart phone and only use my cell phone (Motorola flip phone) to text or call someone, I just do not get this insane fascination with a hand held all consuming THING.
