Call me crazy, but sans bail handles, those spoof croc gloves could actually be useful in a laboratory environment if they were made from autoclavable silicone. We have a number of protocols that require some serious griping and hammering actions along with exposure to high temperatures. and disposable sterile gloves don't fit well over real work gloves. These would solve that issue by providing durability over top of disposable gloves and could be sterilized as needed.

The solar power shirt isn't actually silly at all. You could have a flexible panel on the back of a button up or polo shirt with a breast pocket containing a charger. You could sell it for $29 at Macy's or Dillard's.
