Explore The Amazing World Of Dog Breeds Through Our Series Of Expressive Portraits (16 Pics)
Hello! We are Alexander Khokhlov and Veronica Ershova, the family photographers duo from Moscow, Russia. You could hear about our illusionary artworks based on make-up transformations. But instead of art, we have another passion - dog photography. In our big project called "The Dog Show", we try to show both the beauty of the breed and personality of a dog to explore the wonderful world of our four-legged friends.
The project was started in 2017, and since then dozens of dogs have taken part in it. Each of them is unique, and that is what we try to show in our photos. We are very proud that the series was awarded by the famous international competitions: PDN Faces 2017 (Animal Portraits, Winner), Moscow International Foto Awards 2018 (Photographers of the Year, Nature category), Prix De La Photographie Paris 2017 (Silver, Nature/Domestic Animals), Tokyo International Foto Awards 2018 (Bronze, Nature/Pets).
Enjoy!

I had two Newfs in my life for many years. They are the most wonderful dogs: calm, tolerant, and eager to be always near their people. If you have issues though with strings of slobber over the furniture, walls and ceiling, and/or if you have a problem with balls of fur in every corner and under every piece of furniture, a daschund might be better... ;-)

I love how it looks and think dogs are great. The sad thing is that many pugs have breathing problems and genetic diseases that make them die younger than normal because of the inbreeding necessary to create 'pure breeds'

I agree that these are great photos. Every dog has his or her own personality, own story, and they really come through here. Well done!
These are great photos. It must take a long time to plan them out and pose them.
It is. And every dog needs a personal touch )
