Ocean has multicolored eyes: one is yellow, and the other is half gold, giving the impression that she is cross-eyed. Anneka Svenska, the owner, told Bored Panda, “I have to constantly explain this to viewers of her reels.”

It’s not just Ocean’s cuteness that has gained so much attention on the internet; it’s also the hard work of Svenska. She shared, “I work very hard on her reels; it’s also a full-time profession for me as a content creator and founder of the 1-million-subscriber YouTube channel Animal Watch.”
Belonging to the British animal expert Anneka Svenska, this special wolfdog has beautiful smoky blue fur, captivating eyes, and a personality as big as her size

Svenska shared that she chose Ocean as she has been working with wolves and wolfdogs for years and was aware of this rare color.

Ocean is a unique blend, with 30 percent timber wolf and a mix of German shepherd, Alaskan malamute, and Siberian husky in her genes

Svenska, a British presenter, actress, journalist, and environmentalist, runs the YouTube channel Animal Watch. There, she enlightens viewers about various animal species

“I’m a UK tv host and content creator. I previously was an actress but after working with wolves I changed my profession to producing animal TV programs, as this was all that interested me. I travel the world filming apex predators, wolves and alpha dog breeds. I live just outside of London in a small rural village with loads of castles and beautiful walks,” Svenska shared.
The owner explains that Ocean is multigenerational, meaning she is already several generations removed from the original wolf

According to Svenska, it’s perfectly legal to breed and own a multigenerational wolf dog in Canada and in some parts of the U.S., and the U.K.

Ocean is not directly mixed with a wolf. In the U.K., there are no limitations, and she has the freedom to go anywhere.
Despite her wolflike look, people adore Ocean everywhere she goes

“We are stopped everywhere as she’s so beautiful”

“She’s so sensitive and emotional. Her eyes literally pierce your soul. She is so gentle and intuitive and adores belly scratches”

“Ocean adores playing with balls like a cat. She jumps really high to catch them. She also loves a soft toy called Lamby that smells of her birth mum. Her go-to treat is natural hooves.”

Svenska shared with us that Ocean is very sweet and affectionate. “She adores her pack mates, which compromise huskies and rescued dogs. She wants to play with every dog she meets but greets humans with an air of caution.”
Ocean can also appear both cute and a bit scary, and because of the German shepherd in her, she’s really easy to train

“Every wolfdog needs specialist care. They are highly demanding animals that require constant socialization from a young age, loads of exercise and walks, professional grooming every 2 weeks due to her long coat, toys in abundance as they can wreck your house. A really tall fence as they can climb and escape. Strength to hold them on a leash and patience for when their nervousness gives them a bad day and you get dragged home.”

However, owning a wolfdog is a big responsibility. Before getting one, do your homework to ensure you’re ready and to prevent them from ending up in shelters

“I really don’t want people to buy these wolfdogs on a whim, as they are so hard to care for and I only have one as I work from home and take her everywhere with me. They are sensitive and it would destroy one if it was given in to a shelter. My reels are for escapism and fantasy storytelling, not to promote blue wolfdogs, so just enjoy her from afar.”

Share on FacebookDoggo looks like he has been drawn by Hayao Miyazaki himself. Wild but cute, fierce but sensitive.
What is an "animal expert"? Does this woman actually have a degree in animal husbandry/sciences? Is she a qualified zoologist? Let's see: "Anne Caroline Barrett; (26 January 1974) is a British wildlife presenter, actress, journalist, conservationist and wolf enthusiast." - sooo, nope, she's an actress who likes dogs and wolves. "Anneka Svenska" isn't even her real name. I'm not saying she's not a good pet owner or that she isn't qualified to own/handle a wolfdog, but calling her an "animal expert" seems a bit... incorrect.
agreed, she is kind of underqualified to be called an "expert", cool dog though :D
Load More Replies...I had a friend with a dog that was part wolf. There were three rules - don't look at the dog, don't talk to the dog, don't touch the dog.
I don't think it is AI generated - BUT the photos were posed in very dramatic ways by the photographer and perhaps later "touched up". I spent most of my career manipulating photos for the magazine publshing companies where I worked. Also professional digital cameras these days allow "in camera" enhancements before the photo is even captured.
Load More Replies...Incredibly beautiful and elegant little darling. Thank you for taking good care of him. Much loved from The Netherlands.
Beautiful wolf dog for sure, but does it look like the facial fur is clipped close, to you? I may be entirely wrong, but it appears that way to me. The puppy's face fur is much fuller.
What a beauty! Those eyes.....that face! Correct..... they're not for everyone. Oh, but to be able to pet all that floof 😁
I knew someone who is gone now thankfully! He abused his wolfdog terribly she evetly died! of the wounds she received from the heavy chain he would beat her with and would keep on at all times!
this woman is a bloody hemorrhoid for promoting irresponsible wolf hybrid breeding. vast majority of wolfdogs wind up euthanized. a true professional would not promote this kind of pet on social media
The way she looks, is more of an attention seeker. "Look at me! I have a Wolf Dog" Plastic fantastic woman...
