It’s not just Ocean’s cuteness that has gained so much attention on the internet; it’s also the hard work of Svenska. She shared, “I work very hard on her reels; it’s also a full-time profession for me as a content creator and founder of the 1-million-subscriber YouTube channel Animal Watch.”

“I’m a UK tv host and content creator. I previously was an actress but after working with wolves I changed my profession to producing animal TV programs, as this was all that interested me. I travel the world filming apex predators, wolves and alpha dog breeds. I live just outside of London in a small rural village with loads of castles and beautiful walks,” Svenska shared.
The owner explains that Ocean is multigenerational, meaning she is already several generations removed from the original wolf

According to Svenska, it’s perfectly legal to breed and own a multigenerational wolf dog in Canada and in some parts of the U.S., and the U.K.

Ocean is not directly mixed with a wolf. In the U.K., there are no limitations, and she has the freedom to go anywhere.
Despite her wolflike look, people adore Ocean everywhere she goes

“She’s so sensitive and emotional. Her eyes literally pierce your soul. She is so gentle and intuitive and adores belly scratches”

“Ocean adores playing with balls like a cat. She jumps really high to catch them. She also loves a soft toy called Lamby that smells of her birth mum. Her go-to treat is natural hooves.”

Svenska shared with us that Ocean is very sweet and affectionate. “She adores her pack mates, which compromise huskies and rescued dogs. She wants to play with every dog she meets but greets humans with an air of caution.”
Ocean can also appear both cute and a bit scary, and because of the German shepherd in her, she’s really easy to train

“Every wolfdog needs specialist care. They are highly demanding animals that require constant socialization from a young age, loads of exercise and walks, professional grooming every 2 weeks due to her long coat, toys in abundance as they can wreck your house. A really tall fence as they can climb and escape. Strength to hold them on a leash and patience for when their nervousness gives them a bad day and you get dragged home.”

However, owning a wolfdog is a big responsibility. Before getting one, do your homework to ensure you’re ready and to prevent them from ending up in shelters

“I really don’t want people to buy these wolfdogs on a whim, as they are so hard to care for and I only have one as I work from home and take her everywhere with me. They are sensitive and it would destroy one if it was given in to a shelter. My reels are for escapism and fantasy storytelling, not to promote blue wolfdogs, so just enjoy her from afar.”
