We Packed Our Bags To Visit Iceland And It Turned Out To Be Unbelievable 18-Month Adventure
One day I woke up with a strong feeling that it was time to set off into the unknown. I packed my stuff and together with M. we headed to an unearthly land - Iceland.
It turned out that we stayed there not one week, not even two, but exactly 18... months. We traversed lava fields, ate shark meat, fought with hurricane winds, escaped volcano eruption, and we've taken great delight in everything Icelandic.
During all this time I've been registering all these vast open spaces, otherworldly landscapes, in-between moments, trying to capture the essence of Iceland.
It's not the end of our adventure. Bite into Iceland with us!

I am dying!! He is soo adorable! The picture is amazing... good job!
I was beginning to think there were no trees at all in Iceland. It seems they don't have many.
Stunning locations and images. I love the soft and calming feel of the images
Some good ones here. But, just as I learned when I lived in Alaska (for thirty years), the vastness and the beauty of that cannot be truly captured in a photo. When I tried to tell people about it I found myself always finishing with, "You just have to see it."
Incredible photos. Im equal parts impressed and envious. The photos are so impactful, i can't imagine the feeling of actually being in such a beautiful place.
We're going to Iceland this summer. Yesterday, I jokingly said we should look at immigration there. I'm hoping that once we get there, my husband will decide we need to stay.
this is so original. never saw anything like that before. specially on boredpanda. i'm flabbergasted.
i kept thinking the image wasn't loading on some of them, but i scrolled down a little and it turned out to be just the sky
Adam, thanks for these inspired shots! May i ask where each of these falls were? We are foss hunting in june!
Beautiful images and love your style of work. I go in a week, any specific places to visit with a camera?
The pictures are amazing and I've been dreaming about Iceland too! I am really curious about the finances though - I would love to stay somewhere that long but I read it's hard to get a job without speaking the language, there, and there's no way I could afford to stay so long without a salary! I wish I could work on a laptop ^^
Wonderful images!!! I have the perfect product for all fans of Adobe Lightroom and Winter in Iceland: A special Lightroom preset collection with 50 presets featuring 26 of the most famous spots and also different weather and lighting situations. Gorgeous photo's! Stunning locations and great compositions! Easy on fade filter though, it doesn't really add anything to most of these photo's imho.
lovely tones!! My hobby is also taking photos along my journey. Would you mind to share the tips for the tone? like postprocessing software, or camera setting. Thanks :)
