Step inside the world of Contemporary British artist Genevieve Leavold. Leavold grew up as the middle child in a family of 8 siblings during the 1980's in Somerset UK. She was a dreamy child who would spend long hours playing in the garden making up her own worlds. Now as a full time professional artist Leavold has made her name creating delicate abstract paintings that resemble creatures from the deep. Her paintings are abstract but you can see the forms taken from nature, a lot of her inspiration is taken from the plant life which grows in cities, the weeds and mosses that grow up in the cracks.
