The real problem is put of control increase in human numbers.

Nope. Its only a exponential curve when you start it where you want it "prove" the narrative. Take it back a 100 years and stop cherry picking the results you then realize that actually its just weather and nature... and the humans race stupidity for building/living in places that flood naturally or "eco" policies that have stopped rivers being dredged or grass being burned off to stop fires.
