They're hideous, definitely. Unfortunately, they've come and gone thousands of times throughout mankind's 6,000 year history (no, we are not a species that has been here longer than that), and it's going to continue in that vein until the final event occurs.

I would guess that those people got a bidet installed at home, or that they don't have the type of job where they need to use their hands all day.

I use to have pointy nails (natural, not acrylic) in middle school while I was going through my phase of "gothic vampire girl" (haha) and most of the others girls would always say how weird and horrible they were. Now I've seen many of those ex-classmates rocking them pointy acrylic nails in Facebook feeling so fashionable, hahaha. At least I did mine with a purpose back then 😂🤣

I prefer oval nails or sliiiiiightly pointed nails (dull point or just a really short point) but the things I've seen are absolutely ridiculous and, I agree, should not exist. My mom likes extremely boxy nails that are perfectly square XD

If the 5-day work work does fade, I hope it is replaced by options that can be tailored to the needs of the employee and their family or current situation. That might be longer but fewer days, shorter but more days etc. Equalizing the needs of the business with the needs of the employee would be most ideal.
