35 People Are Sharing Photos Of Their Dogs Wearing Wigs, And It’s Absolutely Hilarious
Dogs are people’s best friends, but also we like to tease them and see their confused faces. There are so many challenges and trends on the internet that owners try with their furry friends, like playing weird noises to them or giving them food they’re not used to and watching their reactions.
One of those trends is #dogwig. It’s exactly what it sounds like: owners put wigs of various colors on their dogs and take a picture of them, making them look more human-like. It’s a fun trend that will make your day better and researchers actually found that looking at cute animal pictures may increase your productivity.

So...the dog is channeling a physically unreformed German head-of-state. I dig it!

Not only can looking at cute animal pictures improve your mood, it also can boost your productivity. A study led by Hiroshi Nittono concluded that cute images may facilitate improved performance on detail-oriented tasks that require concentration.
This study was focused on cute baby animal pictures, as people are always drawn not only to human babies, but also animal babies. The researchers speculated that "Because cute things produce positive feelings, their influence may extend to other aspects of behavior."
Now there's a dog that's given up protesting and is like "lets get this over with".

The team conducted three experiments. One of them involved university students playing a game similar to Operation. They played it two times: the first time was the control testing and the second time, a part of the students played after looking at baby animal pictures and others looked at adult animal pictures.
This experiment showed that the students that had looked at the baby animal pictures were more successful in completing the tasks. Interestingly, they were slower too, taking more care. The students who looked at adult animal pictures showed no change in the way they performed the task.

This poor guy seems about to bite. Well deserved if he did, if he's not ok with it let him in peace. I had a dog who was enternained with my silly things and now i have a dog who is much more independent and i didn't even try to annoy him with my silliness. They are all different and they all need to be respected for who they are, they are not toys.
My late dog was trendy before the trend. "what? why are you taking a pic of me, i'm just chilling, casually". He coudn't care less: wigs, glasses, clothes... he was just like "do your silly thing human if that makes you happy i'm happy too!...GOT YOU!" Sly face licking. I would not even try with my current catlike wild dog, he would get rid of it in the blink of an eye. 20151211-2...737356.jpg
Wow, these are so funny!! Not for the dogs, of course, but I think they don't really mind, it's just wigs
Mine loved it. I don't think that he loved wearing silly stuff of course but he loved the attention so much. Once he was walking down the streets with sunglasses on and he was acting so proud, because everyone was like "ohhhhhhh you're so cute" instead of walking to the other side of the sidewalk.

No pictures of dogs being made sick jokes of should 'brighten' anyones day and it sure as hell doesn't brighten the dog s day! Such an ugly thing to do to a good dog.
I’ve always had big dogs - until I was about 55, when I adopted my Chihuahua mix rescue. He’s not a stereotype in most ways (he’s quiet, polite, learns fast, well potty trained, etc.) but I was surprised to discover that he loves to not only burrow under blankets, but he likes having things on his head. I probably would have thought the way you do if I didn’t have my Buttercup who has taught me differently. I’ve read that it’s not unusual for chihuahuas to like having things on their heads (within reason, obviously), my Buttercup just got sun goggles and he tries to avoid me when.I need to take them off. I agree that many of the non chihuahuas don’t look happy, but my little guy loves stuff on his head. Just thought I’d share. Take care
