I Photograph Windows Around The World

I have always had a curiosity about windows.

Like the structure of houses, they change from region to region and “Windows of the World” was born, a big evolution from the earliest windows that were only a hole in the wall.

How come you took the windows so upfront and straight? Windows are higher than the streets or the streets are too small to get further away to take them. Just curiousty! Keep going with this nice project.

It depends, I usually use a telephoto lens because of the perspective, for Lisbon I have about 2010 photographs of Windows, I choose the ones I think are the best.

I always admired fine details, as much as the overall landscape, of our world. Truly, our species can show great beauty and creative wander :) For anyone who is interested, I would just like to add 2 photographs I took of WIndow Architecture I captured in Italy :D Photo 1: https://www.facebook.com/LisaBoccanera/photos/a.207812726014638.45223.207811656014745/207812936014617/?type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent.ftpa1-1.fna.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-xaf1%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F527280_207812936014617_2137723960_n.jpg%3Foh%3Dafedbab9081edec0454c6a4bbec78f2d%26oe%3D56D851C3&size=397%2C460&fbid=207812936014617 Photo 2: https://www.facebook.com/LisaBoccanera/photos/a.207812726014638.45223.207811656014745/213202295475681/?type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent.ftpa1-1.fna.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-ash2%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F228516_213202295475681_1513883509_n.jpg%3Foh%3D2fe9691d458dd9f5f444d4f418e45ef8%26oe%3D5720C826&size=425%2C605&fbid=213202295475681

Love looking at the differences from country to country along with the different architectural features. It's amazing how unique they are from other countries.

You should take some pictures in Romania: "Brancovan style" and "Neo-Romanian" windows are amazing. Come and see!
